  • Get a HOF class going like they do in the NBA

    So like FIFA 14 to 16 / 17 to 19 etc

Raised this so many times, but most reds argued that TOTY is pretty much the same level as a HOF.

Either that, or you give people HOF when they officially die on VFL and dont come back.

I think this will get shot down because admins and managers find it annoying BUT extra stats! Would be great to see a strikers shots on target % or team shots for and against, average possession, number of passes made in game etc. It’d be more work but would be cool

Don't know if this has been mentioned before but I couldn't see it so my apologies if it has already been raised.

A feature in the free agents section where you can view players based on their position, secondary position, award points, backup, etc, pretty much like a filter.

Would be easier for managers to view players that they need to bring in.

Add contract agreements. I’ve seen so many people who’ve been fucked by managers who have said things like “ill release you when you want.” You should be able to put an agreement in your signing and if the manager agrees he has to abide to those agreements.

It may be very hard to do, but there should be "televised games" where (im not sure if there is or not) there should be a VFL twitch channel or yt channel (maybye even Mixer for XBOX) and there can be "commentators" on the match or there could be a "radio station" where its basically a live club cast, with scores coming in like soccer sunday, and there could be a phone in like radio station TalkSport. This could be very very hard but it could add a nice community touch to this platform, I am willing to go through the massive pain just to set this up however it needs a substantially large viewer base and backing from someone high up in this community, thoughts of this, as always are appreciated. I just hink it would be a enjoyable touch to VFL.

Loved the idea, tried it before, however, it requires the "highlight" game to agree to move their game to say a Monday. Our main issue before was that these big title deciding games.... nobody wanted to move the game so everybody could watch, and the team could set up the relevant effort for the streams.

Its why the Champions League streams for the knockouts work so well because a majority arent playing in it, hence why it gets so many viewers.

true, lots of players would not like the idea of Monday because i understand that vfl is advertised as a weekend pro clubs league and top clubs would have the featured match a lot.
thanks for looking at it though, what are your thoughts on a live version of the club cast though?

We do it live on Bluefin's Twitch, and then it gets uploaded to YouTube a few days later :)

one more thing, @Aaron, i know you are the xbox side, but I see there is a 8 team ligue 1 on ps4 but there is a signing thread with no signings and there isnt a section for them to put up a trialling thread but on the stats app it says there is Ligue 1, my question is where is the trial thread and do they need managers to help the league stay alive as i am more than willing to step forward. Just wondering again while sat in my room with no uni work and my life dictated by vfl and some matey who ate a bat and started a global pandemic :roflmao:

How about a community manager? I know it would be hard for the community mnager to be dealing with kids complaining about not being released but it could take pressure of admins. The community manager would be a type of admin and would be dealing with disputes in teams and any problems the community has, basically an admin without giving people teams, dealing with signings and releases. They would be online all the time to deal with community concerns and would work closely with admins.

#1 - Ligue 1 on PS4 was a test league, it wont be continuing next season as we're putting our French focus on our sponsored mid-week K.O events.

#2 - No need for a community manager. We are admins, we are essentially already community managers :)
