Can't be waiting and focusing on old-gen forever I'm afraid, by the time the season starts, the console would have been out for 12 months. Series S stock is high, and the console itself is affordable, hence the decision.

End of the day, you can get a Series S for something like £28 a month which is £7 a week. Hardly breaks the bank.
