    VFL Season 46 Team of the Season
    Premier League

    oHWxGMUd_o.png

    GK - @TimHxward - Sheffield United - First up in our Season 46 Premier League TOTS, we have the Blades shot-stopper, TimHxward! With 11 clean sheets, 61 saves, and 2 MOTM awards to his name, he was a crucial reason as to why Sheffield managed not only Champions League football in the new gaffer's debut season, but also, an impressive third placed finish! A real consistent player, and one that can be so proud of his contributions to the team. Massive well done Howard!

    CB - @Hughes96 x - Crystal Palace - Our first Champion in the XI is none other than the Welshman himself, Hughes96! Another season, and another fine display in the backline for one of Wales's most decorated players! With 11 clean sheets, 4 goals, 1 assist, and 5 MOTM awards in his 19 games, it's once again clear to see the quality this beast at the back possesses. A first Premier League for Palace in 6 FIFAs, and you have to say, that guys like Hughes and his understanding of the art of defending is a key reason for it. Well played, and all the best Hughes!

    CB - @Bonney I 6 I - Portsmouth - Next up, we have a player from Palace's fierce rivals this season, it's Bonney from Portsmouth! A team of old veterans, coming back together to test their grit, and they nearly succeed! Bonney was known years ago for his realiability, his consistency, and his ability to lead a line.... years later, it's clear to see he's still at the peak of his game! He managed to secure 3 goals, 5 assists, 9 clean sheets, and 5 MOTM awards in his 19 games for Pompey, and thus helped the club achieve European status once more! Quality work!

    CB - @AlexCrunch - Sheffield United - Lastly in our back three, we have another Blades player, and it's the up-and-comer, AlexCrunch! A sublime season for the young defender who manages to clinch 2 goals, 2 assists, 11 clean sheets, and also an impressive 56 interceptions in his 19 games played. A man mountain at the back, an eagle-eyed leader who can read the game like no other, and a player who just seems to raise the level of those he plays with around him! A top notch bloke, and one whO I can't wait to see in the Champions League next season! Well played sir!

    CDM - @Spazout11 - Sheffield United - As we progress up the pitch more, we begin to see more of that defensive spine of the Blades, and next up, we have Spazout! A CDM who has commanded the midfield this season, silently putting in key performance, after key performance, and earning the status as Mr. Reliable at Sheffield. With 2 goals, 1 assist, 11 clean sheets, and a MASSIVE 85 interceptions, it's clear to see why he was the standout in the middle of the park this season. Another guy who Brad has done a great job developing, and another guy who deserves the European football next season. A massive well done Spaz!

    CDM - @Hawley93 x - Portsmouth - Pairing Spaz is another player who has earned the reputation for being extremely reliable in the pivot, and that's Hawley! Again, a part of Skinny's vintage collection, Hawley has been sensational at CDM this season, securing 1 goal, 2 assists, 9 clean sheets in his 19 games played! On top of this, a combined 108 interceptions/tackles showcases that he can do it all in midfield, break up play, intercept balls between the lines, all of it. A real top level player, and one I hope we get to see again!

    LM - @Oblvn Dec - Northampton Town - Our first wide-midfielder comes from the Champions League achieveing Northampton Town! Manager DH94 has endured a tough time in that dressing room, but has still managed to pull in impressive performances, but also secure Champions League with an emotionally fragmented team. As a fellow wide man, I can always appreciate stats from the outside, so to achieve 4 goals, 8 assists, and 24 key passes, as well as Europe, that's a great achievement. I do hope DH doesn't let the issues from some players get him down, because he's been nothing short of a top gaffer, and top talent in the league this season. Really top season DH, well played!

    CAM - @Pixel - Crystal Palace - Next up in our midfield five, its another VFL veteran, and it's from the Champions Palace, it's Pixel! He's been around for years, providing the best of the best match-winning assist after match-winning assist, and once again, he's secured silverware with another team! With 15 played, 6 goals, 13 assists, and 54 key passes, he remains a big match player, with key moments against the top 4 throughout the season! He can dribble, he can pick a pass, and he can win a match most importantly, a truly sensational player, and a well-earned spot in the XI. GG Pix!

    RM - @I Freaked I - Northampton Town - Last but by no means least in our midfield five, it's back to Northampton, and over to the co-manager this time, it's Freaked! Playing on the outside right, he's managed to secure 3 goals, 11 assists, 2 MOTM awards, and 32 key passes, thus helping his his team creatively achieve Champions League football! A player who will be inspired by one of his best ever seasons despite it being a turbulent one as mentioned, and again, a player with a lot of quality and talent. Well played, and top season Freaked!

    ST - @Huwgs - Crystal Palace - As we near the end of the TOTS XI, we have to once again dip over to Palace and take a look at Huwgs! Another season where he has yet again been the main man, and has been the main man for not only scoring, but also for creating. 20 goals, 10 assists, 6 MOTM awards, and 47 key passes in 18 games played this season, and its clear to see why Palace just seem like they can unlock any door that stands in front of them! A real contender for Ballon d'Or, and a player I think could make the difference between us seeing Palace colours on the site banner! Well played, and great season Huwgs!

    ST - @Class Doyle - Manchester City - Last but not least, we have City's skipper and goal-threat, Doyle! Although the season will not have matched his high expectations, Doyle can at least take solace that he has secured Champions League for his boyhood club once more, whilst also being one of the most impressive players in the squad! With 19 games played, he's managed to secure 14 goals, 10 assists, 5 MOTM awards, and 47 key passes, in a season which was plagued with rebuilds, arguments, and a thrilling comeback in the second half! A very impressive return, all things considered. GG Doyle.

    VFL Season 46 Team of the Season
    Championship

    hlp8QDXZ_o.png

    GK - @ShaneDeas8 - Leicester City - First up in our Championship TOTS, we head to Leicester's shot-stopper Shanedeas! A club filled with ambition, and so much fight as they manouvered a near miracle comeback, finishing four points off of play-offs, when weeks ago, the club looked like lower-mid table! A big reason for this revival has been the man between the sticks, as he bags up 3 assists, 10 clean sheets, 106 saves, and 7 MOTM awards in the 23 games played. A real reliable player, who has distribution to match the greats of the game, and one that should definately test his sword in higher tier next season! Well played and all the best Shane!

    CB - @Jackstevenslfc - Bournemouth - As we proceed up the field, we start at our defensive line, and we move to the Champions at Bournemouth! Jack here was a pivotal part of the defensive wall that only conceded 15 goals in 23 this season, a feat which screams "championship winners" itself. Jack managed to secure 2 goals, 1 assist, 11 clean sheets, and an impressive 42 interceptions in his 23 appearances for the Cherries, as the club claims the first bit of silverware in 17 seasons! A great reader of the game, a man that can break up play, and now, a title winner in England's second tier! Congratulations!

    CB - @Collins cK - Liverpool - Moving on, we have a player from the runners-up down at Anfield, and it's Collins cK! A player who has been Virgil Van Dijk quality at the back, as he collects 2 goals, 4 assists, 11 clean sheets, 2 MOTM awards and 54 interceptions in his 21 games played for Andy Klopp's mighty Reds! Whether it be the big six, or a relegation threatened team, Collins has always looked like one of the most consistent players for Liverpool, and has time and time again been the rock that has blocked Liverpool sinking. A great defender, and a guy who can be happy with his season! Well played!

    CB - @I Wakeford I - Bournemouth - Lastly, to conclude our backline, we're over to Jack's defensive partner at Bournemouth, it's Wakeford! Again, nothing more needs to be said about how impressive this backline has been, but when you talk about a formidable duo, look no further than these two! Wakeford, much like Jack, picked up 2 goals, 11 clean sheets, 1 MOTM award, 50 interceptions, and 32 tackles in the 23 games played! These numbers are the numbers of a Champion, and again, it should be no shock or surprise that Wakeford here takes up the final defensive spot. Sublime season!

    CDM - @Communist MV - Bournemouth - Next up, we have our defensive midfield pivot, and we are once again back to Bournemouth, and once again back to talking about a dangerous duo when we talk about Communist and NATT! Communist has spent his time perfecting the CB trade, but manager RyanJoyce has entrusted him to move up the field and begin a new chapter at CDM, and boy, has it paid off! The ROTW manager has secured 2 goals, 3 assists, 11 clean sheets, 3 MOTM awards, 77 interceptions, and 61 tackles in 22 games played for the club! His excellent vision, ability to block killer passes, and his lessons learned from his days at CB has made him a lethal weapon in the middle, and now, he can celebrate as a Champion as he begins for the big test in the Premier League! Congratulations comrade!

    CDM - @NATTT 6 - Bournemouth - Sitting next to him, it's another foreign export, and it's NATTT! Another foreign export smashes into the Starting XI as the Bombay Bad Boy dons the colours of Bournemouth and looks like an Indian Roy Keane reborn! Natt's managed to bag himself 6 assists, 11 clean sheets, 2 MOTM awards, 83 interceptions, and 42 tackles, in what can only be described as a wonder-season! A mix of defensive aggression, and creative magic, he simply had it all during Season 46, as he outshined many of his team-mates in big games, and helped settle some of those big games with his line-breaking assists! A really player, with a top attitude to match, and one that can be happy to say he is a TOTS player in his breakout season! Well played!

    LM - @Birchinho x - Morecambe Town - As we move into the wide areas, we have THE dangerman from out on the left this season, and that's Morecambe's very own, Sean 9x! A terrific season from a man that secured 5 goals, 16 assists, and 36 key passes from out on the left side, being in the top level of creative playmakers in the division! Morecambe as a club have continued to build and improve, the players have got better and better, and Sean is a key standout of that project's results! A great eye for a killer pass, a fantastic ability to pick out a team-mate in a crowded area, and a man that I feel could be the one to watch in the play-offs next week. Great showing, and top season mate!

    CAM - @AndyMc1888 - Liverpool - Our middle man in the midfield, playing the old-fashioned number ten role, is Liverpool gaffer and Scotland gaffer AndyMc1888! The Scotsman has been through the ringer this season, having to deal with pre-season fall-out, arguments, and so much more, but has bounced back, re-built, and has got Liverpool back into the big time as they re-enter the Premier League after a short spell out of it! Numbers wise, Andy managed to bag 7 goals, 15 assists, 2 MOTM awards, and 40 key passes, as he orchestrated the play for the Merseyside club! A true magician on the ball, and a bloke hard as nails when the walls start closing in! Thoroughly deserved!

    RM - @Semedo - Bournemouth - Our final midfielder to complete this all-star midfield, is the natural right-sided player, Bournemouth's very own Semedo! The man that has sacrificed personal stats for the benefit of the team this season, Semedo has been one of the most effective wide-midfielders in the league, executing a great balance of attacking play, and defensive ability! That's shown by his 5 goals, 3 assists, 37 interceptions, and 35 tackles in his 23 games played for the club! He's lived up to his name, and has been the ideal body of what you want from a RM in a 3 back formation, and is a player who the manager will hope can build on, and go to the next level now that they are in the Premier League! Really impressive numbers, and top season my friend!

    ST - @Ciaginni - Morecambe Town - We start off our strikeforce with the league's top goalscorer, and that is Morecambe's wonderkid, Ciaginni! A whopping 35 goals, 4 assists and 3 MOTM awards.... it just screams fear when you are the opposite team and seeing that. He may not be the man that helps create or feed others, but you bet everything you own on him to score a one-on-one in the 90th minute that leads to you winning the game for sure! He generates fear through his runs, his accuracy, and his defensive press, and is a player that Morecambe have really morphed into a guy who can only go onto be one of the very best. A top season, a top player, and a boy that has had the perfect environment to thrive at Morecambe! Well played!

    ST - @FaIse Nine - Liverpool - Last, and by no means least, we have another player from the Merseyside club, and that's Jvrdini from Liverpool! In contrast to Ciaginni, this boy really has it all, a thrilling right foot, an amazing eye for a pass, and somebody that could easily slot into the ten if he wasn't playing that central striker role. 26 goals, 12 assists, 6 MOTM awards, and 29 key passes later, and Jvrdini has been the main man to re-establish Liverpool as a Premier League club for Season 47! Top effort, top attributes, and a real threat heading into next season. I really think this guy could be someone who could get Liverpool back into Europe VERY soon! GG mate!

    To start the S46 League One TOTS, we have Floody. Floody has had an outstanding season between the stick for Bolton this season. 122 saves in the full 23 games he played this season in the league, is enough to see him finish with the most saves in the league fairly comfortably too. 9 clean sheets for his efforts and a very impressive 5 MOTMs shows that this guy was a real asset for the team. Well done Floody!

    @Fazzer1411 r1411 – Swansea City
    Incoming our first defender of the League One TOTS! The lad playing for the white of Swansea City got himself an impressive 40 interceptions along with 19 tackles over the course of the season. You want a clean sheet? No problem! Fazzer has 10 of them to his name during his impressive season. He can also be a danger man in the opponent's box, getting himself 2 goals for himself.

    @IM MASHED ME - Southampton
    The saint playing for the Saints, one of the best defenders in the league of this season, the brick wall at the back. It’s none other than IM MASHED ME. He tops the chart with his 64 interceptions that are just truly impressive. Along with this he has the least amount of goals conceded in the league with 17 goals against his name. 13 tackles, 5 blocks and 9 clean sheets is what helps him into the S46 TOTS! That isn’t to mention the ariel threat in the box that he must be, 2 goals to his name. Congratulations Mashed!

    @Bardenl94l l94l - Oldham Athletic
    Did someone call for a defensive machine? No issue! Here is Barden of Oldham. His ability to make a challenge has not gone unrecognized with him equating 24 tackles. The Oldham boy has also got himself 16 blocks and let’s not forget interceptions, 42 interceptions is quite phenomenal. The man always has an eye for a pass too. 6 assists from the defensive position is quite astonishing and something that makes him one of the best in the league this season. Praised by his teammates and getting himself in the TOTS! Well done Barden.

    @nF I George - Swindon Town
    It’s no surprise to see this guy here, racking up a ridiculous 84 interceptions and 61 tackles in the full 23 games. George has also showcased his creativity this season, receiving 2 assists. His efforts individually have meant that as a team, Swindon have collected a respectable 7 clean sheets this season. It’s clear to me that George played a key factor defensively and for the overall promotion season. As a result, it’s no surprise to see his gaffer give him 5 MOTMs. Congrats on the TOTS George, as well as promotion too.

    @xPMx Impulse - Swansea City
    Impulse was part of a very solid defensive unit this season, picking up 9 clean sheets. You have to wonder whether the team would have still picked them up, had they not had this guy in CDM. With 72 interceptions and 42 tackles, his defence will certainly be proud to have him in front of them. A respectable 2 MOTMs also, congrats Impulse!

    @Heys x - Swindon Town
    with 18 goals from 19 games whilst not even playing in a striker position, you have to hand it to this guy, not many AMs receive almost a goal a game ratio. A respectable 9 assists also, it’s no surprise to me that this guy received 6 MOTM awards, popping up with some real game decisive moments during the season, which ultimately led to Swindon’s promotion hopes becoming reality. Congrats Heys!

    @rq20 - Preston North End
    this guy has been a creative machine for Preston this season, with 20 assists in 23 games. His strikers definitely have him to thank. With 7 goals too, it’s clear this guy also knows how to find the back of the net when he needs to. 46 key passes, averaging at 2 a game, shows that he really has showcased his ability this season. As a result, it’s no surprise to see him end up with 2 MOTMs. Congrats mate.

    @LHems x - Southampton
    Another boy from Southampton! Top goal scorer of League One is a difficult thing to achieve however this season it is held by Hems. A natural born finisher with 29 goals this season. An unbelievable stat that must get the opponents fearful! He can create goals too having 5 assists for his teammates. However, when we talk about creativity, we must talk about his 33 key passes over the season. A man amongst the creative side of the football pitch however a natural born finisher too. Congratulations to you Hems.

    @Cavxni - Bolton Wanderers
    Just a goal off equalling Hems’ top scorer stat. Yes, 28 goals for Cavxni wearing the white shirt of Bolton. Goal after goal after goal, his team must appreciate every goal as it comes which is what has lead to both Bolton’s and Cavxni’s impressive performances through the season. We must not forget the 24 key passes for the matador! Helping his team by putting the ball in dangerous areas, a real problem for defenders, well done Cavxni on your TOTS.

    @Thx0ry - Bolton Wanderers
    The final attacker and it happens to be a partner of our previous ST. Bolton have really produced amazing attackers this season! Thx0ry takes credit for being the artist behind Cavxni’s goals. Why do I say this? 21 assists along with 48 key passes this season, that’s why. Do not scratch your eyes, 21 assists is quite phenomenal and the efforts he has put in for his team has not gone unnoticed. What about goals? He has 10 for you which means he has combined, 31 goals and assists this season. What an impressive season for him and something that must be appreciated by his teammate. An eye for goal and a bigger eye for a pass. A very well deserved TOTS!

    CB - @Lagout - Rodez AF - Some call him Lord Lagout, Some call him Joenaldinho Lagout regardless of what you call him and you can’t deny his very strong season, despite his name including ‘Lagout’ England’s worst ever manager managed to stay in every game, and despite that awful joke probably going over his head, it's still not as much as the ball did this season. However - this season leading the defensive line he managed to break Rodez’ defensive clean sheet record with 16 clean sheets, he got himself 32 interceptions and 23 tackles 6 blocks and a goal in the league, showing how the defensively strong Rodez managed to get themselves a second place finish, Congratulations GOAT and good luck for next season.

    CB - @drewhughes24 - FC Chambly - Shaggggger Drew, the Jack Bastard has been magnificent this season and has been key to their title winning season, Empty his pockets you'll find half of Ligue 1, a half eaten kebab, and kizmarlo’s phone number. With 12 clean sheets, 39 interceptions and 19 tackles chipping in with a very respectable 4 assists and 1 goal, What will next season have is store for this Dyn merched

    LB - @l APX l - FC Chambly - The fullback has produced incredible stats this season, holding the hand of fellow tots inclusion Drew hughes together they have become an inseparable pairing, Racking up 53 interception and 36 tackles in the league the Chambly Lb certainly smashed it and had most defensive contributions in the league, you’ve had an incredible season and we hope you continue your form into the next, will you help Chambly go back to back ? only time will tell!

    CDM - @Dylan 17 (Class Dylan) - FC Chambly - To start off the midfield we have Class Dylan! the Scottish Kante was a major force in the Chambly midfield with 70 interceptions and 50 tackles whilst also helping the attacking side of the game with 6 assists and scoring 1 goal leading Chambly to the title with ease, congrats!

    CDM - @FzDan - FC Chambly - Next in the midfield is Dylan's partner in crime FzDan! Phil Mitchell himself had a very good season with Chambly racking up prolific numbers with 76 interceptions and 42 tackles whilst also helping the attack with 5 assists, congrats!

    CAM - @Wow I Am Class - FC Chambly - Next up we have another Chambly player, the gaffer Gaz! If his ego wasn't bad enough with a name like that a TOTS will have his head swollen for days. The Northern Irish Bergkamp racked up 18 assists whilst also scoring 3 goals with 46 Key passes, this with true passion as the gaffer helped his side massively towards the title. He may have moaned at any opportunity along the way but nonetheless he had a superb season as he takes home his Ligue 1 trophy congrats!

    LAM - @zMichael - FC Chambly - Well this is becoming a bit of a trend in the midfield, to complete a full Chambly midfield we have zMichael! The Italian stallion racked up 31 goal contributions with 21 goals and 10 assists contributing massively towards Chambly's success this season in the attacking department, congrats!

    ST - @JustBrook x - FC Chambly - To start off our attack we have JustBrook aka Russel! Brook led the line for the Chambly attack and produced the goods with 30 goals this season whilst also helping his teammates with 6 assists and 25 key passes, superb season from the German, congrats!

    ST - @Chaz2601 - Chateauroux - Chaz the man whos been up and coming on the scene for a while now has one upped the rest of the league and secured the last spot in this Tots, some say for every goal he scores he treats himself to a kebab, i hope for his sake thats a myth banging home 33 goals in just 19 games, he also assisted twice and contributed 16 key passes. Tempa also paid me to say his hairlines clapped. That being said Chaz has had a marvelous season and will be looking to continue this form into S47. Well done Chaz.

    Ligue 2 TOTS - Season 46

    02e4f9c63a2a07d8991bb57657ab2059.img

    GK - @FH Tru7h - Angers - The American shot-stopper gets our Ligue 2 Team of the Season underway as his phenomenal efforts in net led Angers to promotion via the playoffs. 78 saves in 18 games shows proper backs-to-the-wall stuff, and without his cat-like reflexes, Angers' story this season could've been very, very different.

    LB - @Jhodson x - FC Metz - Manager JHodson x led by example with an incredibly consistent showing at lB for 3rd-placed Metz this season. 12 clean sheets, 31 interceptions and 20 tackles, accompanied by 1 goal and 4 assists shows a steady captain at the helm of the Metz ship, keeping things ticking along very nicely indeed. Good work!

    CB - @FreddieHx7 - FC Metz - Keeping things steady alongside his manager was FreddieH x. 39 interceptions, 17 tackles and a hefty 12 blocks shows that Freddie was the Alamo for Metz as they scrambled their way to the playoffs. Unfortunately, promotion didn't follow, but still a stellar showing for the Metz centre-back.

    CB - @vAdamLN - Clermont Foot -
    17.5m well spent, as Adam kept 7 clean sheets in 17, with 30 interceptions, 20 tackles and 5 blocks along the way. Along the course of this campaign, Clermont conceded the third least in the league, and it's plain to see that Adam was pivotal to that defence. His 88% pass completion is also testament to his composure, being some way ahead of his competition at the top of the pile.

    CDM - @BennH x - FC Metz - Continuing the defensive effort of this strong Metz side, BennH clearly kept his side ticking throughout S46. 89% passing; the metronome also had 64 interceptions and 32 tackles. A complete midfield performance, and only 2 man of the matches suggests that he was a consistent kog of the Metz machine, rather than a handful of superb performances. Just what every team wants from their DM - fantastic job.

    CDM - @Cracker69L - Valenciennes - Talking of metronomes. Cracker managed 93% passing over the course of the entire season, with a goal and an assist to his name too, suggesting he wasn't playing too safe either. 66 interceptions, 39 tackles and 4 blocks shows he didn't shurk from his defensive responsibilities either. Great to see some very solid defensive midfield work in the second division, even if this didn't end in promotion for Valenciennes.

    CAM - @Pellistri x - FC Metz - Now this is some fantastic attacking output from midfield. If you play FM, this is your archetypal Shadow Striker. 28 goals in 19 games from midfield, breaking his club's record in the process, Pellestri took over where his forwards didn't deliver as much, finishing as the league's top scorer from attacking midfield. Cracking display.

    CAM - @Jwizzy x - FC Metz - Our final Metz representative in the starting XI is fellow attacking midfielder Jwizzy x. 10 assists and 5 goals in 19 games, along with 37 key passes, it's plain as day to see where Pellistri got the majority of their goals, and I think firm handshakes all 'round are well deserved in the Metz camp for this camp's deadly partnership.

    ST - @LBP SAAMS - RC Strasbourg - Our first striker comes from the league winners Strasbourg, as LBP Saams grabbed 21 goals and 13 assists in 18 games. 9 man of the matches later, it's clear that his team appreciated his efforts too. His goal vs Nice in mid-season may well be remembered as a pivotal moment in Strasbourg lifting the trophy, and with performances like that throughout the season, it'll be exciting to see if they can carry this through into HT. Good job!

    ST - @LiI Chaos - OGC Nice - 2nd place Nice get the representation they deserve, and it's in the hands of striker Lil Chaos. Sure looks like they caused a 'lil chaos' in the opposition box (see what I did there?), with over a goal a game (19 in 18), with 17 assists, it's abundantly clear that Nice benefitted from some clinical forward work as they secured promotion.

    ST - @Barnybopbeep - Angers - A 2nd TOTS for 5th-placed Angers, with striker Barnybopbeep grabbing the headlines in their playoff charge. 18 goals, 14 assists in 19 games shows that Barny carried the weight of expectation in what I can only assume was a hectic close to the Ligue 2 season. His two goals against Clermont Foot in a 3-0 win on the final day was key to Angers jumping into the final playoff spot and ultimately leading them to the promised land of Ligue Un. Fantastic return.

Gwaupo has moved into Scotland and completely destroyed it in the league with his stats, and also a league title to his name. Keep up the good work.

    DM - @COR0S - Celtic
    Next to Gwuapo we have the only Celtic player in this season's TOTS, we have COR0S! With only 10 games played, he's gotten himself 38 interceptions 17 tackles, and 5 clean sheets. I really hope he finds a better team next season, we want to see your full potential! Congrats fella.

    Moving onto CAM, we have someone who isn’t known to play in that position, but has proven that he can! The well-known CDM decided to have a crack at CAM and has gotten 20 goal contributions and a whopping 36 key passes in 16 games. Congrats on your spot and the title.

    ST - @XxCamerooneyxX - Kilmarnock

    VFL EUROS - Season 47
    Team of the Tournament

    qojL1Fxf_o.png

    GK - @L1ttlebryn - Wales - First up into our EUROS XI for Team of the Tournament is the Welsh shot-stopper, L1ttlebryn! The young and relatively unknown keeper comes in with 5 caps and few opportunity, but has shown himself to be a stable pair of hands, as he's one of the main reasons why Wales equaled the clean sheet record of 8 this tournament. In the end, 8 clean sheets, 36 saves, and 2 MOTM awards later, he finishes as a runner-up, but will have a lot of interest in him in the future. One that should aim to build on this momentum, and see where it takes him. An excellent tournament, well played!

    CB - @Robbo I 6 I - Wales - Next up, and kicking us off outfield is Robbo I6I! A man who enters the fray with no prior international experience, and part of the inexperienced duo at the back that has been so grateful for the platform that this tournament has provided. With 11 caps, 8 clean sheets, and 1 MOTM award to his name, Robbo has for sure learnt lessons and gained valuable experience from the past 2 weekends, and can now only build on this, and be even better for the next World Cup! A massive well done, and congratulations!

    CB - @HobWob - Wales - As mentioned, next to Robbo, we have his fellow uncapped partner in crime, Hobwob! Another player that has made a big impact since rolling onto the international scene, Hob has not only been solid and consistent at the back, but has now seen his profile grow to the point where interest is mounting in the current transfer window. With 1 assist, 8 clean sheets, and 1 MOTM award to his name, he helped Wales reach a final and nearly end their 5 year trophy drought. It may not have meant to be this time, but what can be said is this new-generation of Welsh defenders is certainly promising! Well played!

    CB - @EHM Jackzeh - England - Lastly, our defensive line is topped off with an English hero card, as the gaffer himself Jackzeh finds his way into the XI! One of the few experienced players, Jackzeh was there back in the early days when England had legends like BenA, Sparky, and more running around. He's dusted himself down, put on his waistcoat, and decided that he'd be the one to end England's near two-year trophy drought, both in a management sense, and literally! 83 minutes in, Wales in the final, a delightly BR9 ball comes in, and who's there to nod it home? Sir EHM Jackzeh himself! A quality tournament, and a delightful way to close his lockdown chapter. GG and enjoy the break!

    CDM - @Skellyy - Wales - Talking of legends of the game, we move onto a modern-day one in Wales's CDM, Skelly! Again, a pillar of experience in the Welsh team, Skelly had an excellent tournament which saw him grab 1 goal, 2 assists, 8 clean sheets, and 2 MOTM awards! His excellent reading of the game, positioning, and sound understanding of player movement has enabled him to again clock in as one of the top players in the whole competition, and that's a feat he'll be proud of. Not this time Skelly, but hey, there's always August. Well played!

    CDM - @Kopites15 - Wales - And of course, defensively, we finish off again with a Welsh player who enters the fold of opportunity and owns it, it's Kopites! With 2 previous caps, he impressed Kiz in trials and secured his spot for ALL of Wales's 11 games, securing 8 clean sheets and 2 MOTM awards. He swept the danger away, read the play, and bridged the midfield with some great passing ability, and for that alone, he deserved his spot. A player with an exciting future, and one who we'll hopefully get to see again very soon in the next Nationals!

    LM - @Mushinho - Scotland - As we move up the pitch away from our defensive positions, we start strong with Scotland playmaker Mushinho! With 5 previous caps to his name, he's been around Scotland squads that have breeded success but never really had his chance at a consistent run of games. With this tournament, he's not only got that, but experienced high pressure games, and you know what? He's been top level! Playing out wide, the catalyst secured 4 goals, 5 assists, and 2 MOTM awards in his 10 games played, the most impressive stat-line of any wide-mid who played! Another diamond found in the pile that are usually dubbed "bit-part players" just because of their name. I hope you continue to get chances my friend, top tourney!

    AM - @Gz SeLii - Spain - On the other side of the pitch, we move over to Seli from Spain! Not much is known about this young playmaker, but what we do know is that the more we see of Spain, the deeper their hub of talent gets! With 0 previous caps, he explodes into the tournament with 1 goal and 6 assists in his 6 games, giving out high level performances in some crucial games too! The Spanish may not have got as far as they liked, but they definitely got to see some exciting talent, and hopefully we'll be able to see them again soon too! Well played!

    CAM - @iF Garcia - Netherlands - Our last midfielder of the fantastic bunch we've had, and it's none other than iF Garcia! With such a saturated talent pool, Netherlands continued to pull miracles out the bag, securing not only their first group stage 1st place finish, but creating excting moments in the knockout stage. Although they may have went out a bit early, guys like Garcia stepped up massively, scoring 6 and assisting 7 in his 8 games played, one of the highest returns an Oranje player has recorded! A great couple of weeks, and a top performance Garcia!

    ST - @Ciaginni - Netherlands - The Dutchman from Morecambe continues to fly high! I tipped this young prospect to be one of the stars of the tournament, and as per usual, I fail to be wrong about players. This kid was on fire in the league season, and carried that on into his national team, as he secured 7 goals and 5 assists in his 6 games played for the National team. He's in the groove, and is a player who the Dutch will need to continue working with, as I predict that with the way this Dutch team is now going, I can see it winning a World Cup soon, and this young hungry striker being a big reason behind it! Keep it up!

    ST - @HStryfe - Ireland - Last but not least, we have Ireland's striker and EUROS Golden Boot winner, Stryfe! An excellent tourney for the CB turned ST as he explodes into the limelight with 9 goals, 2 assists, and 2 MOTM awards in his 10 games played, picking up his 50 cap award in the process also! A veteran of the team, and a man that can play various positions to a top level, it's clear to see why he loves international footy so much when he's putting in constant 10/10 performances for the players around him! Top class, and congrats once more on the 50 caps!

    Season 46 La Liga TOTS

    xNKvrEqT_o.png

    GK - @Unbehaun - Alcorcon - Starting off the HT TOTS, we have the one and only Unbehaun. Unbehaun the Unique keeper had hands down one of his best seasons. Luke made 65 saves, kept 9 CS and had 3 MOTM. Wilky the Wizard put on a magic show for us this season and will continue to as he re-signs for S47. Congrats

    CB- @Rurrs - Alcorcon - the Northern Irish man nudges his way into this TOTS with ease, Rurrs had an absolute rocket of a season. Rurrs had 46ints, 23 tackles, 10 blocks(the amount of girls who've blocked him so far in 2021 controversially) and finished off with 9C/S. Controversial to him being a rocket he took blast off every time we pushed for a goal and contributed to 4 goals that were vital in securing points, congrats Rurrs.

    CB - @Lykke x - Albacete - Lykke the leader had an outstanding season where Albacete almost climbed back to steal the title. Lykke had 33 ints, 15 tackles, 2 blocks alongside a massive 11 C/S. How could you not 'Lykke' having such a reliable source in your backline. He shows his importance to the club as he collects 1 MOTM, congrats and best of luck next season!.

    CB - @Mickelbackk - Real Sociedad - Mickelbackk the monster of a centre half had an outstanding season as usual, as Jimmy would say Mick was an 'absolute demon'. Mick had 48ints, 21 tackles, 2 blocks and 2 MOTM in just 18 games. His step game has been absolutely crucial this season. The Ogbonna like defender was very vocal all season and no doubt didn't lose a header. No doubt he won this trophy for his one and only Kev. An absolute pashun player who is now the king of Spain, Congrats Mick!.

    CB - @Rockerr 27 - Albacete - Competing the defense we have Rocker and controversial to his name he was an absolute rock at the back for the Albacete Army. Rocker had 21 tackles, 29 ints, 5 blocks and 10 C/S. It's clear to see from his stats that he was giving the attackers a rockabye as he kept them quiet and put them to bed during the game. Congrats Rocker and we hope to see you again next season!

    DM - @Rocco I 8 I - Malaga - Starting off the midfield we have Rocco and boy was he ruthless this season, just like Boris, Rocco decided to put the place on lockdown. He had 79ints, 32 tackles and 8CS. It's clear to see the goals they leaked were not coming from the midfield, Rocco shows us he is attacking minded aswell as he collects 4 assists. Making it once again look really easy. Congrats and best of luck next season.

    DM - @TSteele x - Cartagena - the one and only Cartagena to make it into The starting 11. Steele was very strategic in the way he read the game. He had 59ints, 54 tackles, 9CS and 1 MOTM in just 19 games. It's obvious that Cartagena would be lost without his presence in the middle of the park because of how dominant he was this season, something to be proud of. Congrats and GL next season, wherever you go!.

    AM - @Pickingz - Real Sociedad - the King is back after dominating in Germany for a long time we see Pickingz move to a new destination in Spain and it's quite clear he settled in nicely. He has been 'Picking' passes and slapping asses as he picks up 10 assists alongside 10 goals. Defensively he has been very strong in the WM role as he gets 37ints and 23 tackles. No doubt to why he had 3 MOTM. best of luck wherever you go!

    ST - @SPOOOOONEY - Malaga - This is becoming a recurrence seeing this man be so successful on the vfl. Spooney has been shagging in Spain not only the goals but the Latinas he picks up at bar after his games on the weekend. Spooney had 32 Goals, 3assists, 19KP and a whopping 10 MOTM. He is of great importance wherever he goes.

    ST - @Neymvr Jr - Alcorcon - Next up to complete the S46 TOTS it's no other than the Notorious German Neymar, after a poor start to the season this man brought it back majorly. They may call him Snakemar but this season they call him Goalmar as Ney Ney picks up 24 Goals, 11 assists and a whopping 46 KP and 2 MOTM. The German will be leaving Spain after this season to go in France with the big boys.

    ST - @Yeh Budd - Albacete - Next up in the attack with have Matt, The mesmerising ST had an outstanding season which is simply why they nearly brought it back eight at the end. Matt had 14 Goals, 9assists, 36 KP and 1 MOTM. Doyle the demon will be competing in France next season looking to pick up some silverware best of luck!

    GK - @Cshevo1888 - Getafe CF - Shevo had a great first weekend making 23 saves and keeping 4 clean sheets in 5 games, His team Getafe currently sit 8th in La Liga but with this man in between the sticks and some more goals at the top of the pitch they will hope to push on up the league as the season goes on, Well done!

    CB - @Tvmori - Deportivo Alaves - The Deportivo man has been a key player in the first weekend keeping them in games with his defensive efforts which has helped to keep his team 3 points off the top spot. Tvmori has an impressive 11 tackles, 15 interceptions and 4 clean sheets in just 5 games, Needless to say Deportivo wouldn't be the same without him, Well played!

    CB - @Mickelbackk - Real Sociedad - A key part of Sociedad's defence who sit top of the league currently, but also an asset at the top of the pitch popping up in attack and helping out with a goal and 2 assists! Hopefully Mick can carry on this from and take Sociedad to a back2back La Liga title, Congrats!

    RB - @Luke39 x - FC Chambly - The right back had a great first weekend keeping 4 clean sheets which helped Chambly to currently sit top of the league with 5 wins from 5 games! Luke will hope to carry on his good form for the rest of the season and help Chambly lift the Ligue 1 trophy for the second time in a row, Well played!

    LB - @APX I 13 - FC Chambly - Onto the opposite side of the Chambly full backs we have APX, The left back who as well as Luke kept 4 clean sheets and had a great weekend defensively, APX has got high up the pitch a few times already this season and got 3 key passes to his name, I wouldn't be surprised to see this man contributing further up the pitch as well as defensively as the season goes on, congrats!

    CDM - @wilkstaa - OGC Nice - A terrific weekend this young man indeed have had for the underdogs of Ligue 1. With a very solid amount of defensive contributions, topped off by 3 assists, Wilkstaa has most certainly made himself look like nothing short of a staa(r) in the midfield of the OGC Nice side who saw themselves undefeated in the first weekend. Undoubtedly a name, aswell as a team, to look out for this season. Nice job!

    CDM - @Dylan 17 - FC Chambly - If you're looking for a midfield general to run the play from the middle of the park, you'll struggle to find one as solid and consistent as this Scottish workhorse. Dylan's racked up a solid 19 interceptions, and on top of that showed his abilities to dictate the play with his 10 key passes. It's clear that Dylan has his eye set on multiple accolades, and with more performances like this, that is something that indeed is very achievable. Well done!

    CAM - @JustBrook x - The German sensation has done it again. After having a sensational season up front for Chambly last season, Brook has shown his versatility by having one hell of a weekend in the attacking midfield for the defending champions of France. After a whopping 7 goals and 2 assists Brook investigated all of the space left open by the oppositions defence. Can Chambly make another push for the title? If so, they'll need Brook to keep up these kind fo performances.

    CAM - @Wow I Am Class - Yes, another Chambly player... This time it's the gaffer himself Gaz. An absolute stellar weekend from the Northern Irish playmaker, putting up a nothing short of impressive 9 assists. The man with all of the confidence will try his hardest to keep up these performances, and if he does you can not argue with the claim that he indeed is class.

    ST - @BR9 - You could say that BR9 has been Class so far this season (see what I did there?). And well, he has been. Leading the line for the dominant force in Ligue Un, his goals have helped carry Gaz and co to an unbeaten top of the table start. Wow I'm Class? Nah, BR9 is.

    ST - @HStryfe x - Real Sociedad - The man Wales were terrified of in the Euros but flattered to deceive has recovered fantastically to bang in the goals for Real Sociedad this term. 7 goals, 7 assists in 5 games is a great return, even though 6 of his goals were in one 12-0 win. Still, got to reward the Spanish league leaders with something I guess.

    LT TOTW - Week 1 - Season 47

    GK - @Chickenwing5652 - Exeter City - This week adding a spicy 24 saves to his stats is good old ChickenWing. nNot only does he have an elite gamertag, he also has a pair of hands. He's marinated, hes cooked and hes pulled off some of the most flavoursome saves we've ever seen. Well done ChickenWing. 10/10

    CB - @Sir Flippy - Brentford - A huge pleasure to announce that Sir Flippy has managed to bag a top spot in TOTW. He did not get flip flapped by the opposition, he was infact doing the flip flapping and brentford and co could not be prouder. He's protected his net and got a whopping 16 interceptions this week. Well played Sir Flippy. Keep flapping.

    CB - @xFootyxLegendx - Forest Green - An absolute Footy Legend here fighting his way into TOTW. Some would call him Forest Greens own Paulo Maldini. Coming out on top with 18 interceptions, the most out of all of the defenders this week and even scoring a goal. Unreal performance and we think that forest green are lucky to have him. Well played, you are indeed a Footy Legend.

    RWB - @itzWill10 - Brighton - Better known as Ben 10's twin brother, Will has proved himself to be a superhero in defence with a massive 13 interceptions and 5 tackles. Brighton are hoping that Will10 will be defending their net to promotion this season. Well play Will. Ben is proud.

    CDM - @Amity Mapexy - Fleetwood Town - The absolute goat, the legend the man we all aspire to be like Scotty 2 Hotty. He's a force in the midfield and a staple to this TOTW. This gargantuan player is said to possess the muscle and tenacity of Yaya Toure combined with the silky wizardry of David Silva. There's truly nothing this ICON can not do. We are so proud of you son!

    CDM - @TStockyy - Aston Villa - According to our sources, TStockyy has been an absolute unit in defence. Having collected 8 Key passes, 16 interceptions and 13 tackles. He's bullied, he's fought and he's spat in their faces once hes won the ball. The tank has made Aston Villa proud. Keep it up Stockyy!

    CAM - @BBQ x Pistola - Carlisle Utd - Burgers weren't the only things being whipped up by the BBQ guru,. All of the League One opposition saw the flames of this mad man in the midfield. Sausages, Chicken, CJ Hyde on the bouncy castle. These are all things you usually expect and have come to love from BBQ x Pistola, but now he's adding a finger licking 3 goals and 5 assists to his platter. If this is the new standard i demand an invite to your next gathering.

    CAM - @KG Andz - Jahn Regensburg - It’s no surprise Andz finds himself here after an absolutely cracking start to the season. 5 goals and 4 assists in 5 games played Andz indeed has shown the kind of attacking display that could lead his team to the promised land that is the Bundesline. He has really proven to be the creative spark within the team, Well done Andz!

    ST - @AU7x - Swindon Town - With a gamer tag that sounds like a Poundland version of a Call of Duty weapon, it’s a lovely surprise to see AU7x in the TOTW this week. 8 goals and 4 assists in 6 games played, a great start to the season. As the only representation Swindon have in the TOTW lineup, AU7x’s ego is bursting at the seams. Well played.

    ST - @AJeffery10 - Bolton - After absolutely spanking Coventry in the cup qualifier, the win must have given AJeffrey a confidence boost to go on and secure a spot in the starting TOTW. Having a stupendous weekend coming out on top with 14 goals and 2 assists to cap off an absolutely unreal start to the season. Well played.

    ST @FatherFarage - Plymouth Argyle - This man does us proud by staying in England. Luckily, no relation to Nigel Farage, FatherFarage, unlike Nigel, takes a spot at the topwith an absolutely whopping 11 goals and 4 assists in only 6 games! Despite these stats, he was only given one MOTM, which leads us to believe his manager is a tad clueless, switch on @yesDavee.
