GK - @Zinnyy - Bradford - We kick off our TOTS for the final season of FIFA 21 with a Frenchman between the sticks! Bradford's very own Zinnyy stands tall with Bradford missing out on the league title on goal difference, after an excellent campaign which saw the keeper secure 1 assist, 10 clean sheets, 45 saves, and 1 MOTM award! A team that has continued to grow, develop, and play an attractive style of football, I cannot wait to see what they have in store for FIFA 22, and how they finally plan to secure that highly anticipated bit of sliverware! Well played my friend!

CB - @I Brvsko I - Bradford - As we progress up the field, we remain in Bradford and head to Zinnyy's defensive wall and partner, Brvsko! The defender has been in exceptional form this season, staking a big claim for the upcoming World Cup! Regardless of the opponent, teams would struggle to bypass him, proven by his 10 clean sheets, 42 interceptions, and 11 tackles in 19 games! Another player who has such high potential, and has demonstrated such class in all of his performances. Best of luck in Europe this weekend!

CB - @COR0S - Liverpool - Moving along the backline, we have the experienced Scotland international and defensive mastermind, COR0S! He's played his trade at Liverpool under Sandwell this season, and has all but perfected his craft, being a provider and defensive wall for the Reds! With 1 goal, 6 assists, 8 clean sheets, and 53 interceptions to his name, it really is hard to pick out a player who deserved to make the squad more than this guy. An exciting season, topped off with the potential of European glory, and we all for one hope it's a great finish!

CB - @Curly I15I - Fulham - Last, but by no means least in the defence, we head to a consistent figure in Curly I15I! Curly has once again been pivotal in a team's quest for success by applying his excellent defensive reading, with some leadership. With 2 goals, 2 assists, 7 clean sheets, and a whopping 63 interceptions to his name, it's safe to say he's had an awesome season, and deserves to be playing in the all-star game coming up. Keep grinding, stay in higher tier, and I can see you seriously blowing up in FIFA 22. Massive props man!

CDM - @MrMuffin I 6 - Middlesbrough - We're now up into the midfield pivot, and kicking us off will be another consistent performer, and glory-chaser, MrMuffin! A season where Middlesbrough pushed to the very end and left their mark on the division with Champions League qualification, Muffin was a key reason to all of that! With 2 goals, 9 clean sheets, 63 interceptions, and 41 tackles, it really is clear to see who the midfield general was for Boro. No silverware may have come form the league, but he can take pride in his performances, and in having a great season in a team filled with years of experience. Well done Muffin!

CDM - @Danielsandwell8 - Liverpool - His partner in the slot next to him, is none other than Pro Clubs and VFL veteran, DanielSandwell! Being dubbed as one of the most consistent performers of the CDM position, and being one of the most underrated box-to-box midfielders out there currently, it's no shock we find Dan in yet another TOTS! With 17 games to his name, the dynamic midfielder managed to bag a goal, 8 clean sheets, 5 MOTM awards, but also 55 interceptions, and 45 tackles... a stat line even Steven Gerrard would be proud of! Fantastic effort Dan, and all the best for 22!

AM - @ColeDoesntMiss - Liverpool - As we enter the attacking midfield portion of the pitch, we find yet another legend of the game, and long-time team-mate of Sandwell, and it's Cole! Whether it's in striker, midfield, or Bayern Munich, or Liverpool, Cole is the definition of a consistent baller in that attacking midfield position! 19 games to his name, 8 goals, and 13 assists (with 50 key passes by the way!), it's clear to see who the creative spark was for Liverpool this season, as they fought until the very end to secure Champions League football! Another great season, and well played as always Cole!

AM - @ADJ 96 - Northampton Town - Our main playmaker in the formation, and it's a man that has gone through it all, low finishes, high finishes, tight decisions.... everything, it's ADJ 96! A guy who has consistently got better and better with each passing month, and made Northampton Town his home, ADJ has executed his understanding of attacking play with his ability to communicate and build a system, something that a lot of managers dream to achieve! With 7 goals, 22 assists, and 4 MOTM awards to his name, the new Northampton Town assist record holder can have satisfaction with another successful season, and begin to plan for the all-star games. Congrats my friend!

AM - @ViP Spootan - Liverpool - Last but not least for our attacking midfield line, we head back to Merseyside and say hello once more to ViP Spootan! A player who has made that RAM position his own, with a sprinkle of flair on top, Spootan has been in electrifying form for the bit-part role he's played in the campaign! With 15 goals, 11 assists, and 38 key passes from his 13 league games, it's clear to see when he did play, he channelled his inner Salah and did everything from scoring, to assisting, to winning the plaudits from his manager! A fine season, and one he can be proud of. Well in mate!

ST - @MWest x - Tottenham Hotspur - The final piece of our jigsaw, the attacking duo, and where else to start other than Spurs's main man, MWest! Channelling Harry Kane with his 35 goals and 7 assists, it really is clear to see where Tottenham's league title came from this season, with West performing in every game no matter the occasion. He may have missed out on European football, but will surely be aiming to conquer that in FIFA 22 in his quest to land an ellusive Ballon d'Or! A great season, with history made, and one he can be proud of! Well done sir!

ST - @SvntineL x - Bradford - Finally, we head back to Bradford and say hello to our French friends one final time, as we take a look at the deadly finisher himself, Svntinel! With Bradford enjoying a fluid and free-flowing attacking style of play, it's clear to see why Svntinel enjoyed such a fruitful season, securing one of the club's highest ever finishes! With 17 games played, 29 goals scored, 10 assists, and 6 MOTM awards, the Frenchman really did explode this season, showing the UK that when football is played correctly, it can be beautiful and stat-heavy! Fantastic work, and all the best my friend!

    Season 48

GK - @J99x - Tranmere Rovers - We kick off our Championship TOTS with the Champions Goalkeeper, J99x! A season which saw CCRL Clarke fully take the reigns after stepping in to save the club from bans in the middle of last season, and what a job he's done with not only recruitment, but also developing players! J99 is one of those players! With 13 clean sheets, 69 saves, and 1 MOTM award, it's obvious to see why Rovers were not only so solid at the back, but why they're going straight back up! The guy was an absolute brick wall in games against Colchester, and made many pivotal saves against Carlisle, pulling his team to points in some games throughout the season. He truly deserves this, and should be ecstatic with how he ends FIFA 21!

CB - @v WheaT - Carlisle Utd - As we venture up the field, we find another fantastic player who has only gotten better and and better as the year has gone on, it's v WheaT! He's been an absolute unit in the back and helped Carlisle remain defensively solid to aid them in completing their League Two to Premier League journey! With 23 games played, 3 assists, 14 clean sheets, and 51 interceptions to his name, he's been one of the standout performers of the division and has earned his right to once again compete for European football next season in England's top flight! A baller, and a player who anybody would love to have! Well in!

CB - @ant07n - Carlisle Utd - We move along the backline and we move onto the second piece of Carlisle's historic defensive wall, and it's ant07n! Again, forging a great partnership with his team-mates, Ant07n was a pivotal player in so many big wins for Carlisle's promotion, proven with stats such as his 13 clean sheets, 36 interceptions, and 3 MOTM awards! His ability to read the game, man-mark dangerous opponents, and of course, nod in a set piece have all been so key towards the club's success, and now, he finds himself back in the Premier League, and apart of one of the most feel-good teams on VFL! Congratulations to you!

RB - @massey1401 - Carlisle Utd - Last, but by no means least, we complete the trio of Carlisle with massey1401! As previously mentioned, this trio really have been special and consistent for the club for the whole campaign, each applying their own strength to forge a great wall of Carlisle! With Massey, it's his experience, it's his ability to handle pressure, and it's his hunger to win! This is proven by his impressive stat line which included 12 clean sheets, 37 interceptions, and 30 tackles from the RB position! A player who plays aggressive and fast wing-back football, and one that should be happy at his own personal development this past 12 months! Well done sir!

CDM - @C6 Danny - Carlisle Utd - As we progress up into midfield, we remain at Carlisle for the moment and take a look at C6 Danny! Another dynamic player picked up by CJHyde who has added bags of experience, grit, and balance to the midfield with his Kante-esque presence! The ability to pick out a danger man and stick on him all game, frustrating them, is this man's art, and has only gone on to help Carlisle gain promotion to the top flight! That annoying brilliance is an attribute that will always be associated with Coxy, proven with his impressive stat line of 1 goal, 5 assists, 12 clean sheets, 52 interceptions, and 36 tackles! A truly fantastic season, and GG to you my friend!

CDM - @l Hackzy l - MK Dons - Our final CDM to make the XI comes out of JC's MK Dons, and it's the talented and fresh prospect that is l Hackzy l! Not much is known about this fresh talent, but he's made one hell of a splash in his debut season which saw him run and dominate the midfield for MK Dons in a season where they narrowly fell short of the play-offs! A player who can create but also defend, Hackzy managed to bag 7 assists, 9 clean sheets, 22 key passes, 46 interceptions, and 30 tackles in a season which will have him chomping at the bit to go again. Excellent debut season to say the least!

AM - @Warzycha I9I - Carlisle - We now head into the spearhead of our team, and why not take a trip back to Carlisle to look at a young Greek prodigy like Warzycha! Warzy may be utterly incompetent on the race-track on GTA, but give this boy a football and some boots and he'll blow your mind with what he can do! Playing in a wide AM position, predominantly on the left, this superstar managed to hit 20 goals, 15 assists, and 43 key passes in his 19 games played at AM this season. With those numbers, you can see why Carlisle had such a fear factor up top, and you can see why they fancy their chances going into FIFA 22. Congrats pal, hopefully you don't wreck me on GTA next playlist (I will hunt you down if so).

AM - @Brodz 5 - Tranmere Rovers - Another wide AM who has lit up quite the storm in the Championship this season is none other than Brodz 5! Brodz has always been a player that managers can rely on when it comes to his ability to step up and fill big roles, and he's done just that in a season which saw Tranmere regain Premier League status on the first attempt! A campaign filled with flair and brilliance saw the player bag 12 goals and 7 assists in his 23 games played at AM. Modest numbers, but add in his defensive work-rate to track back and assist at the other end, and you have a real player on your hands! Cracking effort this season!

AM - @Famalam NaT - Aston Villa - Our final AM making this TOTS, and it's another fresh player who has made a big splash at Aston Villa, it's Famalam NaT! A creative player who models his game off of Kevin de Bruyne himself, he's been the main creative cog in a Villa team that has done brilliantly this season! With 21 games under his belt at AM, he's managed to bag 3 goals and 13 assists, numbers that contributed to Villa's high finish, and late mini-surge towards a play-off spot. If Chuck does continue, it's players like this who he'll want to get more of, players that are hungry, fresh, and can easily make a difference! Big GG my friend!

ST - @Naughtybud - Exeter City - We finish with our deadly duo from Exeter up top, and we kick it off with the manager himself, Naughtybud! An excellent season for a man who came into management with a lot of question marks over him, but managed to silence any doubt with a strong team, and more importantly, strong individual numbers! Not only do Exeter find themselves in the play-offs this week, but they really have highlighted themselves as a dangerous team on counter attacks and when on the break! With a stat line of 36 goals, 7 assists, and 38 key passes for the gaffer himself, who can argue with anything I've just said? Best of luck for this weekend, and great season!

ST - @CF I Pete - Exeter City - Last, but by no means least, we stay at Exeter and look at Bud's strike partner, a VFL veteran, and man that has a rocket for a right foot, it's CF I Pete! A man that is a workhorse, a man that leads, and a man that always steps up to the plate for those big moments and big games! It seems like years since I've seen Pete and Robert lift silverware in their prime, but now, with Pete grabbing 25 goals, 21 assists, and 48 key passes..... and a play-off to come, I really do have a feeling that Exeter will be the team to watch. Awesome season Pete, and glad to see you still smashing it!

The VFL League One Team of the Season (TOTS)
    Season 48

    A8Vh9Ygt_o.png

GK - @Jan Roblak - Brentford - Another year goes by, and another League One TOTS releases, and so we see a regular as always, it's Jan Roblak kicking us off! The experienced goalkeeper is loving his football with his new core at Brentford, enjoying back-to-back promotions and silverware, helping the club back into the Championship after a long holiday away! The shot-stopper was in excellent form, with 14 clean sheets and 81 saves coming in his 23 games played for the club, games which included title deciding fixtures against clubs like Huddersfield, Swansea, and Sunderland (where he was incredible!). A great season and way to finish 21, and a season he can be proud of! Congratulations!

CB - @Maggzy - Brentford - As we move up the pitch, we stay in London and Brentford and move onto a defensive powerhouse, it's Maggzy! Maggzy was another player for Brentford who never let his consistency drop. With 2 assists, 14 clean sheets, and 44 interceptions to his name, it's clear to see why Brentford were so stable at the back, with this VVD type player leading his team mates to safety! A player who will be chomping at the bit for Championship football, and a player we can't wait to see evolve once more on FIFA 22! Well played sir!

CB - @JAMIE FELLA BOY - Sheff Wed - Next up, we head to the Steel City of Sheffield, and it's the Owls defender Jamie Fella Boy! A fantastic breakout season which saw the player catch the eye of many clubs high up, the defender has picked up an incredible stat line which boasts a goal, 2 assists, 7 clean sheets, but most impressively 54 interceptions in his 23 games played! A man that is a sweeper, will tidy up, and make sure his club have the best possible chance of a clean sheet! A true warrior of the CB position, massive GG to you sir!

CB - @Toxic x Enrique - Brentford - Lastly, we head back to Brentford once more to complete our back three, and it's the defensive enigma, Toxic x Enrique! A blockbuster season for the young lad who managed to help secure 13 clean sheets in his 21 games played, but also managed to bag 38 interceptions, 15 tackles, and 15 blocks! Whether its a last ditch tackle, a blazing run to catch a striker, or positioning that even Maldini would be jealous of, this player has it all, and has showcased it all this season! Best of luck to you in FIFA 22!

CDM - @Hansyy - Brentford - Moving into our midfield pivot, we head to the experience of Northern Ireland, and take a look at Brentford's Hansyy! A player with a troubled past has finally found some stability at Brentford, not only that, but success! A player who now has experienced what it's like to stick with a group and have that team spirit which helps secure wins and titles! He was incredible in his own right this season, picking up 4 assists, 10 clean sheets, 68 interceptions, and 37 tackles in his 22 games at CDM, and one has to think, what else can the player achieve next year? Well played, keep your head down.

CDM - @jackgleeson2004 - Huddersfield - Our final CDM to make the XI is the Huddersfield gaffer himself, jackgleeson2004! A manager and player that looked incredible in pre-season, building a team which had it all, from defensive solidity, to attacking flair, it was always known that Huddersfield would be involved in the title race this season! He himself is no stranger to quality, making the CDM role his own with an impressive deep-lying role where he managed to pick up 7 assists, 7 clean sheets, 58 interceptions, and 37 tackles in his 22 games played! Jack now sets his sights on the play-offs, a competition the club can win, but will they? Best of luck this weekend!

CAM - @Temperz#7809 - Leyton Orient - We're now in the meaty part of the XI, it's that attacking midfield area, and where better to start than Orient's Temperz! A player who Couch (Club manager) has picked up and made it his mission to develop, and boy, has he succeeded! The explosive attacking midfielder helped Orient's play-off push with an impressive 8 goals and 23 assists in his 19 games in the position, terrifying club defenders in the process! Now, Orient are on the cusp of back-to-back play-off wins, and if they are to achieve it, guys like Temperz are going to need to be on-form and unlocking defensive lines for fun! We're all excited to see how it pans out!

CAM - @Owen Doyley - Swansea City - Moving along, and we're off to Wales and Swansea in particular to say hello to our old pal Owen Doyley! Owen is another attacking midfielder who has the vision of three players, as his ability to spot a match-winning pass really is second to none this past season! Swansea were incredible each week, and backed that with promotion to the Championship, and with 9 goals, 17 assists, and 30 key passes to his name, it's difficult to dispute Owen's massive contribution to that achievement! Well played, and enjoy the break my friend!

CAM - @reubz5767 - Huddersfield - Lastly, we head back to Huddersfield to look at another veteran of the game, it's Reubz! A player who has been around the block, achieved promotions, sufferred relegations and lived to tell the tale, it's clear years of experience have only positively impacted him! A season which saw Huddersfield finish in the play-off spots, topped off with his own 8 goals and 15 assists, and a massive 50 key passes in 20 games... he really could be a player to watch in this weekend's play-off tree! Hope you're well Reubz, and see you this weekend!

ST - @LFC Nath I 10 I - Swansea City - Finally, we finish and end up at our two hitmen, and we head back to Swansea to check in with deadly finisher, LFC Nath I 10 I! A player who has used his experience of higher tier football and Europa League finishes to his advantage, he's been unstoppable this past 6 weeks! A Swansea side which dominated early on, led by his heroics in front of goal which included 33 goals and 18 assists, topped off by his leadership, and ability to put any team he plays on, on his back, and over the finish line! Top effort, and all the best for 22!

ST - @CU93x - Brentford - Last, but by no means least, we're back to London and checking in with another Northern Irish hitman, it's CU93x! A season in which he transformed into prime CR7 saw the attacker pick up 37 goals, 10 assists, and 4 MOTM awards in his 23 games for the club... numbers that on their own would put fear into any defender and opposing manager! He's been able to shake off being man-marked, explode past some of the best defensive lines in the division, and penetrate with fury, helping his team to consistently pick up points, and eventually... silverware! A fantastic season and crazy numbers my man!

The VFL League Two Team of the Season (TOTS)
    Season 48

    mgnkMAq3_o.png

GK - @BrainNoCells - Cheltenham - As we head into the final TOTS of England for Season 48, I must say, a massive well done to all the teams in League Two for an excellent season! Let's kick it off then with a trip to Cheltenham and take a look at BrainNoCells! Cells has been utterly incredible for Cheltenham during a difficult season with availability and more! However, standing firm, and showing great consistency, the shot-stopper managed to bag 8 clean sheets and 103 saves in his 22 games for the club this season, a stat line that MANY clubs in the higher league may be interested in for FIFA 22! Will he stay, will he go? It's all part of the fun! Well played my man!

LB - @Froggy FCR - Rotherham - Carrying on with our defensive unit, we find a fantastic wing-back in the fold coming out of Rotherham, it's Froggy FCR! The man has shades of prime Marcelo (if Marcelo rocked up for Rotherham) running through his veins as he glided down the wing all season, being a danger to many defensive lines! When he wasn't attempting to be a provider, he was solid at the back, keeping 11 clean sheets in 23 games, securing also 53 interceptions and 33 tackles! A brick wall at the back, and a big reason for Rotherham's strong finish to the league season!

CB - @Sweepzio - Salford City - Moving into the defensive unit of the field and we step over into Salford to take a look at Sweepzio! The talented defender has been in-form throughout and never disappointed with his performances, standing tall in not only the big title-concerning games, but also the smaller games which can trump any team! 23 games later, 3 goals, 1 assist, 9 clean sheets and 54 interceptions is his stat line, and with that, hardly anybody can argue with his inclusion in this TOTS! A flawless season, and one he can be proud of!

CB - @Gough 6 - Salford City - We continue our journey with TOTS defenders, and we're back to Salford City and taking a look at Gough 6! A dominant defender, who rises in the air and towers the ball into the back of the net, Gough really has had a perfect mix of attacking and defensive brilliance this season! With 5 goals to his name, and 2 clean sheets and 39 interceptions in his pocket, this man has credit in the bank! His positioning on set-pieces, his leadership, and many other attributes made him a stand-out for this TOTS selection... I just wonder, what next for him? Have a great summer my man!

CDM - @Frenzi aG - Bristol Rovers - We begin to climb up into our midfield, and we're finally making a stop off at the Champions Bristol Rovers, and saying hello to Frenzi aG! Without any doubt, when people saw this Bristol team come into the division, it was all but a formality that the league would be going blue. A team stacked with talent and Champions League experience, and they made it count in League Two this season! Frenzi himself was a key part to that success, securing 1 goal, 9 assists, 6 clean sheets, and a whopping 72 interceptions in his 23 games played for the club! A tremendous season, and a fun way to end 21!

CDM - @Rossi IRL - Salford City - The final piece of the pivot, and we're heading back to Salford City and taking a look at Rossi IRL! A great campaign for the midfielder who showed streaks of Gerrard and Keane combined! After 23 games for Salford, the midfielder managed to secure 3 goals, 2 assists, 9 clean sheets, and 61 interceptions, making him one of the most exciting box-to-box DMs we've seen in the league in quite some time! In reality, this Salford team had a great spirit, built on a playstyle made by great chemistry. I really hope you guys opt to continue for FIFA 22! Well played, enjoy your summer!

LAM - @zMichael - Bristol Rovers - We're climbing up the team once more, and we're now taking another stop at Bristol to say hello to an old Ballon d'Or winner, zMichael! The lad really does has quality pumping through his veins, whether it be scoring pivotal goals in Champions League semi finals, or banging one in against Norwich on a cold Saturday night in June! The energetic wide man managed to secure 32 goals and 18 assists in his 19 games played in the position for the club, and will now be eyeing up success with Northern Ireland to cap off a fun year!

CAM - @Wow I Am Class - Bristol Rovers - Talking of Northern Ireland, our next stop in TOTS is the former Northern Ireland manager himself, Mr WIAC! The gaffer enjoyed a relaxed and peaceful season, opting to maintain his energy for the August World Cup, rather than stress himself with any issues in the league campaign.... and it worked a treat! A league two title in the cabinet, but also 11 goals and 23 assists to his name, it's clear to say he's had a great time with a fun project at Bristol Rovers! Congratulations!

CAM - @Hollow IRL - Salford City - Finally, our last attacking midfield, and we're back over to Salford for a final time to take a look at the highly appreciated Hollow IRL! A player who really shined for Ireland in the previous international outing, Hollow continued to elevate his stock, as he enjoyed a fruitful season with his friends at Salford, securing a promotion in the process! With 9 goals and 21 assists to his name, nobody can argue he was the club's main creative catalyst, and with that, probably the player of the season for his club! Well played, and great season my friend!

ST - @I Foden I 47 - Rotherham - We're now at the end-game, our strikers! We kick it off by heading to Rotherham and taking a peak at the dynamic Foden 47! A player who exploded in great fashion this season, picking up 34 goals, 7 assists, 43 key passes, and 4 MOTM awards in his 23 games played.... with that stat line, is it really a shock to anybody that the young prodigy who loves a left or right footed strike, made the XI? A top player, and one who can only further elevate his game next year, all the best to you Foden!

ST - @I Kiann I - Bristol Rovers - Last but by no means least, we're saying hello to a Welshman at the Champions, it's Kiann! Kiann played that role of the supporting striker this season, opting to feed his team mates rather than go for glory on his own, and we love that! A campaign which saw 19 goals, 23 assists, and 48 key passes for the young man, and it's hard to ignore him for a potential international call-up in August! Being around a squad of established winners will no doubt have boosted his confidence, and now, we wait and see if he can take the next step on his journey! Well played, and GG!

The VFL Bundesliga Team of the Season (TOTS)

    Season 48

    f9867fef1c9a22b27f51b20f541e10d1.png

GK - @Crota XVI - Ingolstadt - The shot stopper made the move to the Bundesliga with his manager and we can see why he wanted to keep him. 129 saves across 17 games and 4 clean sheets, the man was huge in helping Ingolstadt to a top 10 finish this time round. Well done!

CB - @JFatality x - Ingolstadt - One of 2 Ingolstadt defenders in this seasons TOTS, the manager had a big season as he stepped up his game to improve those around him. He broke up play 55 times, made 22 tackles and blocked 20 goalbound shots, he certainly played his part. Nice work.

CB - @vConzaa - Hertha Berlin - The first inclusion from the Bundesliga champions, Conzaa helped his side to keep 6 clean sheets and chipped in with 3 goals as well. He showed his class in making the transition from LT to HT with no issues. Good luck for next season!

CB - @ChirpyBear - Ingolstadt - After joining from Tenerife expectations were fairly standard for Chirpy but he showed everyone exactly what he's capable of this season. 43 INTS, 26 Tackles and 31 blocks, he didn't want to let anyone score and was a massive part in his teams final league position. He also chipped in with 2 goals and picked up MOTM 3 times, top season!

DM - @I Kxdxn I - Hertha Berlin - Following his £25m transfer from Montpellier, Kxdxn had a lot of pressure put on him to perform but he did exactly that. 41 interceptions and 41 tackles alongside 2 assists and 17 key passes show his importance all over the park. A great season, rounded off with the league title, well done.

DM - @Communist MV - Bayer 04 - A strange season for Communist saw him go on loan to Bayer and end up as manager following some odd happenings at the club but you couldn't really ask for a better show them how it's done manager based on his S48. A mammoth 62 interceptions with 41 tackles, no player was safe from his ankle biting! He also managed to pick up 5 assists, showing he can ball too. Good luck for S49.

AM - @Tyler 20 x - Augsburg - The Augsburg manager had a great season in AM, pushing his side to a 5th place finish, their best ever position. He put in 6 goals and 12 assists in just 11 appearances as well as 23 key passes. If only he'd been around for the extra games his team may have finished even higher!

AM - @Lewzini - Hertha Berlin - What a season for Lewzini, not only did he win the league but he also romped away with the stats for AMs in the division. 28 assists, 67 key passes and 8 goals tells you all you need to know about this player, without whom the title wouldn't have happened. Top job on B2B titles!

ST - @TheScouseSanta - Sandhausen - TheScouseSanta gets the recognition he deserves after a great season in the goals. 17 goals and 8 assists in just 15 games is nothing to be sniffed at in this division. That's 35% of all the teams goals. He's been with the club since December so he's certainly worked for it. Perhaps next season he can help fire the team to even loftier heights!

ST - @Calzed - Hertha Berlin - Calzed is becoming a pretty big deal in my opinion, putting in top performances at both Union Berlin and Inter Milan before settling with Hertha this season. For S48 he saw a return of 19 goals in 14 games as well as 26 key passes which certainly helped Hertha to take the title! Will he stay on for next season or will he be looking to ply his trade and take the golden boot in another country! Time will tell.

ST - @DanMBrx - Fortuna Dusseldorf - this man helped Dusseldorf to promotion in S47 and has now helped fire them to 7th place in their first time back at the top table. 16 goals, 9 assists and 5 MOTM performances show off his class and the team will be desperate to retain his goals for next season. Congrats.

    Season 48

    5c7626fbbde3a34f2e67e88958a24523.png

GK - @Burkett 2 x - 1. FSV Mainz 05 - This goalkeeper had an outstanding season. Out of the 14 games played half of them were clean sheets. Also pulling in 2 MOTM shows this goalkeeper has the stopping power that shows why he should be here.

CB - @iTz Dec - 1. FC Heidenheim - Starting off the back line is a defender who brings in 5 clean sheets out of 15 games. Also chalking up 3 goals and 2 assists Dec has shown this season why he deserves to be in a team that went unbeaten and why he should be in the TOTS

CB - @XM Danny - Werder Bremen - Being one of 2 defenders from bremen in the TOTS this time around shows just how well the defence played. Also gaining 1 goal and 1 assist can do the job up top while also being a clinical defender. Showing 9 clean sheets out of 15 this defender doesn’t let many past him and deserves to be here.

CB - @Glyn TM - Werder Bremen - The other half of the Werder Bremen pair in this TOTS defence boasts 10 Clean sheets out of 17 games. 1 goal and 2 assists added to his stats means he doesn’t just sit back but also shows up at crucial times.

DM - @GastonDK - RB Leipzig - Where to start with this defensive mid. 2 goals and 2 assists or the 5 clean sheets in 12 games. DMs don’t just sit back. They help out the attack and this man did just that. 13 key passes shows he has the vision to send the ball forward when he needs to.

DM - @burga boii - Wurzburger Kickers - The second defensive mid to join the TOTS shows his defensive capabilities with 40 interceptions and 36 tackles over 17 games. Also showing 3 goals and 5 assists just goes to show he can help the attack out when needed.

AM - @I LJC I - 1. FC Heidenheim - Starting of the AMs for the TOTS is an AM with 13 goals and 25 assists with 79 key passes out of 17 games. His team obviously liked his work as they have awarded him 5 man of the matches.

AM - @CShaw10 x - Werder Bremen - Coming in for the second AM slot with 13 goals and 25 assists with 65 key passes is an attacking mid who knows how to get the job done. 4 man of the matches awarded out of 17 games shows this is a very capable attacking mid.

ST - @RyannTearzz - RB Leipzig - With just 13 games played this man has slotted in 22 goals and 7 assists from 29 key passes. With 4 man of the matches RYANTEARZZ has proved to his peers that he in an attacker not to be reckoned with.

ST - @Willzyy 9 - Werder Bremen - This mans season must have been unbelievable. 38 goals and 18 assists from 43 key passes I have to say I wouldn’t like to come up against this man. The powerhouse striker has helped Bremen reach the Bundesliga after a phenomenal season.

ST - @Mattinho I 9 - 1. FC Heidenheim - 27 goals and 23 assists from 49 key passes just goes to show why this man is our final addition to the TOTS. The clinical striker had a great season and will make defenders think twice when they see him on the opposing team. Helping Heidenheim get to the Bundesliga after an unbeaten season is about as good as it can get.

The VFL Season 48 Serie A TOTS!

    RBaREcTb_o.png

GK - @Spraggsy - Inter Milan - To kick start Serie A Team of the season we have our very own Spraggsy. The Shot stopper was vital in Inter Milan's race for the title this season making 67 saves with 11 Clean sheets in 19 games while also racking up 2 Man of the match awards.

CB - @AFC Finn - Next up and to start the defence we have SPAL's very own Finn. The defender was a crucial part of his sides League title win with him getting 11 Clean sheets, 44 Tackles, 18 Interceptions and even managing to chip in with 3 goals.

CB - @EHM Jackzeh - Next up and at the heart of the defence we have Jackzeh. The Defender had an amazing season with Benevento narrowly missing out the title but he was one of the standout players providing 11 Clean Sheets, 40 interceptions, 11 tackles and even getting on the score sheet 3 times during the 19 games he played.

CB - @mailbag0000 - Last player we have to finish of the defence is the one and only Mailbag. The commanding Centre back has had a outstanding season having 31 interceptions, 17 tackles, 11 blocks and 10 clean sheets all in 17 games.

CDM - @Pogs - SPAL - We start to climb up into the midfield as we make a stop at the Champions SPAL with Pogs. There was no doubt that SPAL would be winning the league with the sheer amount of Champions League winners they have. Pogs was a key role to their success, securing himself 3 assists, 13 clean sheets, 18 key passes, as well as 48 interceptions and 25 tackles and 2 MOTMs to top off his stats. A tremendous season to end of this FIFA.

CDM - @RDhillon x - SPAL - The final part of the pivot and we have Pogs's teammate, RDhillon. A great campaign for the midfielder who continues to show his class and dominance in the midfield. After 18 games for SPAL, RDhillon secured himself 3 assists, 12 clean sheets, 18 key passes, a staggering 50 interceptions and 35 tackles alongside a block and 1 MOTM, making him and Pogs the best midfield duo the league has seen in a while. Congrats and enjoy your summer.

RM - @ZeeDee - SPAL - We climb up the midfield and take another stop at SPAL to say hello to a previous Ballon d'or winner, Dyl. This lad really has pumping through his veins, whether it be scoring pivotal goals in Champions League finals, or banging one in against Frosinone on a Sunny evening. The unstoppable Wide mid managed to score 27 goals and 5 assists in his 19 games played. The stats don't stop there as Dyl also got 42 key passes, 19 interceptions and tackles, plus 2 MOTMs to end off his stats. I'm sure he will be eyeing up the success in the Champions League to cap off his amazing year.

CM - @Ilaix Moriba - Benevento - Next up in TOTS we have Benevento Midfielder Ilaix. The midfielder was taking no prisoners this season as he was on fire, being a powerhouse in defence, and a goal machine when attacking. He has it all, with his amazing 11 goals and 13 assists, continuing with 4 clean sheets, 41 Key Passes, 35 interceptions plus 15 tackles. All within 19 games, he also gets 2 blocks and finally 3 MOTMs. A performance worthy of TOTS and his team coming just short of winning the title. Ilaix was a star man in the Benevento team, and a key part to their success.

CAM - @Fenix Tiki - Monza - Finally, our last attacking midfield, and we have Monza maestro Tiki. A player who really shined for his team this season. Tiki continued to elevate his game, as he enjoyed a season with his friends at Monza coming shy of the title. With 8 goals, 20 assists and 66 key passes, it's clear to see he was his teams creative catalyst and probably the player of the season for his club. Well player and good luck next season on a new game.

ST - @Dyljuan - SPAL - We're now at the end-game with our Strikers. We kick it off by heading back to League champions SPAL with bagsman Dyljuan. Dyljuan was lethal this season once again, as he managed to score 28 goals, assist 18 times as well as get a whopping 90 key passes. This man can do it all and he shocks no one with this TOTS as he had another amazing season. Best of luck in the Champions League.

ST - @SPOOOOONEY - Benevento - Last but by no means least, we're saying hello to a lethal striker, and a all round great player who proves why he deserves to get a TOTS. Spooney had a great campaign as he proved he can shoot and assist getting 18 goals and 15 assists whilst also getting 43 key passes in 17 games. Unlucky to not win the league but Benevento have their eyes set on the Champions league and Spooney as a key asset to them succeeding. Good luck and I'm sure Spooney will keep performing for his team in other competitions.

The VFL Season 48 Serie B TOTS!

    e54V7Rxz_o.png

GK - @Namer2016 - Parma - Lets begin this years Serie B TOTS with the ever present Namer2016! Parma won promotion this year via the play offs after securing a 3rd place finish and Namer most definitely played his part. With an impressive 127 saves, it's easy to see why Parma finished the season with the 2nd best defensive record in the league. Namer played in all 21 games, managed to get 2 assists, keeping 6 clean sheets and earning 2 MOTM awards along the way. Well done Naner2016!

CB - @ATru3Djentleman - Parma - Staying at Parma but moving into the defence, we come to ATru3Djentleman. A part of the management setup who has helped secure Parma a route back to Serie A, Tru3 has been a rock across his 19 games played this season with an incredible 64 interceptions! Certainty a leader at the back Tru3 has also chipped in with 1 goal, while contributing with 23 tackles and 18 blocks to go with their 5 clean sheets. Having earned 3 MOTM awards, he played a part in that solid defensive unit for Parma, well done ATru3Djentleman!

CB - @KP21 x - Genoa - Now we move on to not only the Serie B title winners, but the gaffer himself KP21 x! Ever present all season playing all 21 games, we have another leader at the back who not only helped steer Genoa back to Serie A but helped secure the best defensive record in the league! KP finished the season with 8 clean sheets, 40 interceptions, 12 tackles and 3 blocks, so it's easy to see why Genoa were so hard to beat this season. The first but certainly not the last Genoa player to feature on this here, KP should be very proud of the team they built and how they performed all season. Well done KP21 x!

CB - @IBugzy - Genoa - Now to the last defensive position, and one of KP's defensive brick wall partners we have lBugzy! Clearly KP loved playing alongside Bugzy, as they also played all 21 games this season. While solid at the back, Bugzy contributed up top as well finishing the season with 1 goal and 4 assists. Being a part of the best defensive side in the league Bugzy finished the season with 8 clean sheets, 45 interceptions, 18 tackles, 6 blocks and even earned a MOTM award for their troubles. Being crowned champions in any league isn't easy, and having a great defensive record is a big factor in that. Well done lBugzy!

CM - @Kopites15 - Genoa - Starting our midfield is the Welsh Anchor KOPITES15. An up and coming star, Kop was an ever present force across the pitch, breaking attacks with his 39 interceptions and 22 tackles, whilst setting his team mates up with 49 key passes, which lead to 14 assists. An impressive season, Well Done!

DM - @J Hodges x - Genoa - Next up is fellow Genoa teammate J Hodges x. Proving that bribery is a way to get into TOTS, Hodges made himself a big name for both our TOTS and Kurt’s Genoa. Racking up 63 Interceptions and 25 tackles across the season, he proved his worth. Nice job!

CM - @TTV Lockett8 - Genoa - The third Genoa midfielder goes to none other than TTVLockett8. An attacking force, Lockett managed an impressive 20 goal contributions from his 11 games played. These efforts were recognised by his team, with himself managing to earn 3 MOTMs. Well in pal!

LM - @El Nippa87 - Torino - Our final midfielder goes to Torino wide midfielder El Nippa87. Achieving a goal or an assist in every other game he played, Nippa managed to make the games he played in dangerous for the opposition. Congratulations on the season.

CAM - @BFUDDZ78 - Napoli - Our CAM spot is taken up by the Napoli manager BFuddz78! Leading by example, Fuddz managed to get a staggering 25 assists, 17 goals and 56 key passes from his 20 games, a set of stats impressive for anyone. This helped his Napoli side secure promotion back to the top league, a place they belonged. Nice!

ST - @Rigged Tank - Genoa - Our first TOTS striker, and one half of a clinical Genoa attack, is the big man Rigged Tank. An attacker that strikes fear into his opponents eyes, he managed to score 24 times for his team, whilst assisting his team mates 14 times. This undoubtedly helped Genoa get their goal difference up incase they needed it, securing them the title. Congrats!

ST - @JackS1221 - Genoa - Our final TOTS member goes to Jacks1221. Like a prime Bolton Nicolas Anelka, Sadie Boney finished the season as Serie B top goal scorer, finding the net 30 times in his 21 games. To add to this, he also helped his team score, providing 50 key passes which got finished by his teammates 8 times. A fantastic season carrying Kurt, congratulations!

GK - @Stink 35 - Malaga - We start off by congratulating the flying Dutch man in his success. Not only did him and his team go without losing a game, but he also broke the record for the most GK clean sheets. 14 clean sheets out of a possible 19 is impressive if you ask me. Congrats.

CB - @Buckz19 x - Malaga - Big Buckz, definitely worth the big bucks if you ask me. Another Malaga player to break a record. Most defensive clean sheets in the league from this man. But let’s not forget his 45 interceptions and 27 big tackles he has put in. Well done.

CB - @Brilllo - Sevilla - Brilliant Brillo second on the list for a TOTS. What a season this man has had. Not only has he been a brick for his team, but he has also put himself in the goals department. His stats show why he has earned 3MOTM this season. After recovering from continuous DDosing by some Romanians, he has earned himself a TOTS. Congratulations.

CB - @Scqrz x - UD Las Palmas - This man right here has found himself in for a TOTS. With 44 interceptions and 26 tackles you can now see why he’s up there. He has helped his team get top 5 this season. Amazing from the lad. Well done.

CB - @Dunn I 6 I - Malaga – Back to Malaga we go. Dunn was involved in Malaga’s invincible season. 12 clean sheets in 17 games puts him up there with his CB partner Buckz. This is a partnership to be reckoned with a fantastic season individually also, completing 29 interceptions and 10 tackles. Well done.

DM - @Skellyy - Malaga – The Gaffer, the man that pieced up the puzzle to create this outstanding team gets himself a TOTS. He is at the number one spot in this midfield. Not only does he get 12 clean sheets to his name he also turns into a Prime Xavi with 14 key passes from playing deep, congratulations you nervou's mess.

DM - @Kaiser I5I - UD Las Palmas – We are back to announce another Las Palmas tots. Kaiser 59 interceptions and 37 tackles shows how strong you were but let’s acknowledge the 4 assist you got as a CDM. Well done in getting into the Top 5.

CAM - @Mainey x - Real Sociedad – The Maestro is here. We found him! 21 Assists, 48 key passes there is nothing left for me to say. Setting up goal opportunities is light work for you. The speed and awareness you showed this season was phenomenal. Well done mate another Record broken by you, after @DudIxy nearly ruining the chance after blazing chance after chance over the bar.

RM - @Kieran Codd - Malaga - I want to start off by saying Congratulations to you. Showing how deadly Wide Mids can be. 19 games, 13 goals, 10 assists and 42 key passes. Is there anything left to say? Let’s take notes from this talented player. Well done.

ST - @Pellistri x – Real Sociedad - Number 1 striker in Spain. Not only can this goal scorer bag goals he also creates chances for others around him. 20 Goals, 10 Assists and 33 huge, huge key passes. This just shows why your up there. Well done.

ST - @JChapman 9 - Malaga – The VFL Vet, has found himself in another TOTS. This must be second nature from the poacher. Only 15 games for club and he sees the season out with 18 goals and 14 Assists. He has an eye for goal. What a talent to have on the site. Well done.

The VFL Season 48 Ligue 1 TOTS

    Ligue-1-TOTS.png

GK - @Nolan - AS Saint-Etienne: first off we have Nolan. after winning the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France, the stats he put up were just as impressive. 15 clean sheets, 40 saves and even an assist to go with it.

LB - @Sir Big Suga - AS Saint-Etienne: next up is the gorgeous Sir Big Suga, 15 clean sheets for the brickwall, who also chipped in with 4 goals and 3 assists for the team, that even Itani would be proud of.

CB - @Rockerr 27 - AS Saint-Etienne: another Etienne player to enter the team is Rocker. after doing the double with the previous two, it was only right to have other defensive powerhouse in the team. congratulations!

RB - @ParaCFC - AS Saint-Etienne: ohhhh baby a triple, it’s a 3rd and final defender for Etienne in Para. the newly-announced England world cup manager had a stellar season - and has he reward for doing so with the silverware and the last spot in this team.

DM - @Pridmore x - Marseille: the first non-Etienne player to enter the team is Pridmore. after finishing in the Champions League places this season, he has helped Marseille keep 10 clean sheets, as well as chipping in with 52 interceptions and 42 tackles.

DM - @FzDan - AS Saint-Etienne: once again, another Etienne face enters the fray, this time being Dan. the well-renowned burger boy played a mediocre part in the dominance that this team had, with a measly 9 assists from DM, as well as a combined 136 tackles and interceptions. not very poggers.

CAM - @Shearsmith96 - Chateauroux: wow, not only does this man have looks that can kill, but also has some tekky fifa skills to match. coming in with 11 goals and 13 assists from attacking mid, this was well deserved for the best and only LT admin on the site.

LW - @Dennis99 - AS Saint-Etienne: back to Etienne dominance, and Dennis has thoroughly deserved his place in the team. 22 goals with 9 assists to add has propelled the Ligue 1 outfit to a domestic double.

RW - @Jenks23 x - AS Saint-Etienne: the VFL equivalent to Hal Robson-Kanu has taken his spot in the team. 30 goals for the big man this season, with a cheeky 27 key passes to boot - nice one lad.

ST - @Yeh Budd - AS Saint-Etienne: what do they feed this man? 31 assists from striker, it’s clear that sweating it across the box was the gameplan this season for Etienne - nevertheless, congrats.

ST - @DN43 - Marseille: the last spot in this team, and it goes to DN. after putting the offence for Marseille on his back this season, he is more than deserving of his spot. 37 combined goals and assists shows his dominance against every team he faced this season

The VFL Season 48 Ligue 2 TOTS:

    17301d2cd6d707d7b8f712ce517b0bfd.png

GK - @Lil Chubbs#3586 - Grenoble Foot - To start off another cracking season of the greatest lower tier on the site we have the Grenoble Foot GK. This rather humongous shot stopping unit has had a season he'll be telling his grandchildren about. 48 saves contributing to 7 clean sheets, this man has been such a security between the sticks that sometimes the defenders just lets attackers through for the shits and giggles. Maybe that's why Chubbs, despite his stellar performances failed to bring the team to automatic promotion, and instead had to go the playoff route to get themselves promoted. Well played Chubbs!

CB - @JAYBA7K37 - RC Lens - Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's JAYBA7K37 and his massive noggin once again towering over your defence to score yet another thundercunt of a header. Five of those Mr. Jay managed to bring out this season, making up for MKW's lack of goalscoring ability upfront. However as a defender there's more than heading ability to this great man. With some gorgeous symmetricity in his defensive stats, 21 interceptions and tackles, along with a 6 blocks and getting 9 clean sheets us at the French Admin headquarters are not quite sure if there's anything not to like about this man, and we're fairly confident the entirety of RC Lens would come to agree with us.

RB - @TomNF42 - RC Lens - Unlike his namesake, everyone’s cartoon cat, Tom has ended this season with a tremendous bit of glory, earning promotion, aswell as a spot in this starting eleven he’s certainly not let his defence down. Having spent less than a year on VFL, Tom has been grinding to get the best out of his potential, which has shown this season with his terrific ability to paralyze the attack with just his mere presence in this backline. If anyone was to make a list of people who they’d trust to put in their backline, you’d be nothing short of stupid to not put Tom’s name down which he’s shown with his impressive 37 tackles and 37 interceptions. Stellar effort Tom!

CB - @TON2412 - Montpellier - TON2412, the unit, the unstoppable force, the living embodiment of how the defensive side of the beautiful game should be played, this man has many names. Putting up a stunning 43 interceptions along with 19 tackles and 5 blocks, you’d think a player as solid as TON2412 would play for a promotion worthy team, however unfortunately Montpellier fell on the final hurdle in the playoffs, which I can imagine the team crying a ton of tears over. If TON keeps whacking out the kind of performances that he has done this season, I’m sure heaps of teams will be rushing to get the fellas signature ahead of Season 49, and hopefully his season will end with more glory than this one did.

CB - @Joshymaz - Montpellier - The man mountain himself, Joshy really has had his Weetabix in the morning. Together with TON he has created a borderline unstoppable force at the back for the mighty MontyP, being a massive reason for the eight clean sheets that the 4th place finishers managed to rack up throughout the season. Other than that, Joshy got himself 36 impressive interceptions, further proving that absolutely nothing gets past him. Great job!

DM - @xXxDomtacion607 - Grenoble Foot - 89 defensive contributions this season for Dom - class stuff.

    CM - @Bemerino - Le Havre -

CAM - @rq20 - Grenoble Foot - RQ20 has has a great season in attacking midfield. He's been a real creative force providing 14 assists through the season, giving his teammates a boat load of chances. Combine this with the 8 goals he scored and 40 key passes he's made and you can see how great he really was

ST - @JOSHEYBOYO - Dijon FCO - here we have Pensheyboyo, the small man demon who never leaves the house. after being gifted 17 goals in 4 games against small man opposition, pensheyboyo racked up 31 goals for the season - shame on you penshey!

ST - @jwhitehand - FC Nantes - Nantes key man up top fired in the goals for fun this season. He scored 24 this season, along with 15 assists, giving a ridicous 39 contributions. He got recognised for this with 5 MOTMs, and was well and truly a catalyst in the Nantes side that won the league.

ST - @barney2goose - AC Ajaccio - The Ajaccio striker has had a fantastic season. He's bagged 26 goals this season truly living up to the Barney2Goals nickname he gives himself. However he isn't just a goalscorer, he's got 12 assists and 59 key passes this season which is absoloutely daft, he's given out more keys than Benjani himself. To round it off he has 8 MOTMs, showing how much he did carry the team even though be picks them himself.

The FIFA 21 Team of the Year

    hOAt3z8N_o.png

GK - @BaiIeyyyy - We kick off the Team of the Year with a player which screams consistency and confidence with Bailey! A year which saw multiple trophies, multiple accolades, and more big match performances in compettiions such as the Champions League! A year which saw Bailey collect 108 games played, 56 goalkeeper clean sheets, 393 saves, and 13 MOTM awards, it's hard to argue against his inclusion in one of the biggest and best award ceremonies on VFL. A massive congratulations to you Bailey, and all the best for FIFA 22. Deserved!

CB - @Tuanze - As we venture up the field now, we head into the defensive three, and kick it off with Tuanze! The Welsh international has again been in fine form after narrowly missing out last year, producing masterclass performances in the Champions League, but also the World Cup during FIFA 21! The powerhouse defender was a big miss for the World Cup just gone, and could have added more silverware to his name if his availability was just slightly better, but alas, ending a year with a TOTY XI placement is hardly bad! He ends the year with a stat line of 114 games played, 9 goals, 7 assists, 64 clean sheets, 7 MOTM awards, 208 interceptions, and 87 tackles. Congratulations!

CB - @Mickelbackk - Next up in the heart of the defence we have the Northern Irish international Mickelback! A year which saw him combine and link up with his friends, and wow, could it have gone much better? Multiple titles, multiple big game performances, and a step up compared to previous years where Mick applied his trade to the position! A year which saw Mick end with 109 games played, 8 goals, 10 assists, 54 clean sheets, 9 MOTM awards, 1 red card, 256 interceptions, and 94 tackles. A cracking season, and a year which can only be built on for FIFA 22. Well played!

CB - @HHarwood x - Lastly, to end our defensive trio, we're over to Harwood, another player who has done nothing but progress and shine as the year has gone on! An incredible year which included a Champions League, a Bundesliga Title, and also a Serie A title along with many more accolades that would take too long to list! Not only that, he secured the most goals from the CB position compared to any other shortlisted defender, showing us that he has quality not only at the back, but as an option up front! In the end, he finishes the year with 98 games played, 10 goals, 5 assists, 61 clean sheets, 13 MOTM awards, 216 interceptions, and 113 tackles! Massive props, and all the best for 22!

CDM - @Pogs - We move into our midfield pivot, and we've got two ballers to hold the fort here, but to kick us off, lets have a look at Pogs! A guy who has been in the background this year and last year, helping teams build to be super competitive and challenge for all the major honours. This trait of "chasing to be the best" is not only present in his management career, but his playing career as a holding midfielder, as he now enters the bracket as one of the best to ever do it! A year with multiple league titles, and the most clean sheets of any CDM shortlisted... safe to say, it's time to involve him in that conversation for midfield GOATs. In the end, he finishes the year with 124 games played, 3 goals, 15 assists, 71 clean sheets, 14 MOTM awards, 328 interceptions, 158 tackles, and lastly, 43 key passes. Incredible year!

CDM - @RDhillon x - To complete the pivot, we head to one of the biggest veterans of the game, a ROTW regular, and a man who has played in some of the best teams going over the years, it's Raj! The young CDM has come a long way from his young past, playing with the likes of R9 Benny and enjoying Champions League success with Bayern Munich, but all of it has contributed to making him the midfielder he is today... reliable, strong, and a winners attitude are three traits just to remind you all of! A year which saw him quietly go along with his business, picking up silverware to match his status of one of the greats, and now, he ends the year with a TOTY placement! To confirm, he had a stat line of 114 games played, 8 goals, 14 assists, 66 clean sheets, 9 MOTM awards, 340 interceptions, 221 tackles, and 49 key passes! Legendary to say the least!

LAM/CM - @Caldwell x - As we move further up the pitch to our attacking midfield area, there's only one place to start, and it's Caldwell! Another year, another TOTY award as the young and exciting attacker picks up yet another accolade to cement himself as one of the most dynamic players on the console! Whether it be as a box-to-box midfielder, a wide playmaker, or a defensive midfielder, he really can do it all, and do it all to a super high standard. He enjoyed spells at clubs like Real Sociedad and Crystal Palace, picking up numerous titles and cups to match his quality, but in the end, he also leaves with the big one! A stat line at the end of the year of 124 games played, 50 goals, 46 assists, 8 clean sheets, 15 MOTM awards, 136 interceptions, 147 tackles, and 127 key passes... a fantastic year Jim, well played man.

CAM - @Olofinjana X - Our man in the middle, the #10 of the team, and it's a man not many know of, and we LOVE that type of story, it's Olonfinjana! A player who has kept his head down, not been offered many "good" opportunities, and just developed in his own group and earned his status as a prolific #10 the hard way, securing trophies at Real Madrid, and also being involved with the England set-up in a few tournaments this year also! A player who can pick out a pass, build up play, and one that SHOULD now get more opportunities due to the recognition he's deservedly getting. A massive well done from all the admin team here my friend, and congratulations on a stat line which included numbers of 120 games played, 51 goals, 98 assists, 13 MOTM awards, and 255 key passes. Numbers any AM would be proud of!

RAM/RM - @Dylan/ZD - Lastly, but by no means least, its the tricky winger himself, Dylan! Another player who has done nothing but improve and grow in confidence in the past year, Dylan is rightly involved in the TOTY picture and starting XI once again! We saw him explode last year, and he's done much the same again this year, cementing his status as one of the most explosive goal threats from an out-wide position, backed up by the impressive stat line of 98 games played, 90 goals, 27 assists, 13 MOTM awards, and 131 key passes! We can talk for days about his defensive work-rate also, as he bagged 78 interceptions and 68 tackles... numbers any team-orientated winger can be proud of. He's one to watch, and one that will only continue to grow and become even better as the years roll on. King moves ZD, GG!

ST - @Dyljuan - The undisputed GOAT of the Xbox scene, whether it be due to his sheer numbers, his trophy count, or his impact in big games, the old man continues to make waves! Dylsh has been a fixture of greatness here for SO many years now, bringing his skillset and knowledge to the game at an elite level every time he touches the virtual pitch. A year in which he performed as a forward, whether that be as a supporting man, a main gun-man, or even in the #10 behind somebody... fact is, you can put this guy anywhere and you're going to get a performance. I played with him years ago, and it's clear to see his vision, ability, and hunger to be the best is still absolutely there, and with that, he bags another TOTY award! Congratulations to you Dylsh, incredible year which included 120 games played, 80 goals, 89 assists, 19 MOTM awards, and 326 key passes!

ST - @MWest x - We conclude our TOTY XI with another veteran of the game, a man who to this day still lacks an A button, but makes up for it with an incredible conversion rate of shots to goals, it's MWest! Whether it be years ago at Spezia playing as a WAM, banging goals off the left, or nowadays playing down the middle and securing his clubs titles like he did at Tottenham just recently, he's proved himself this year as a man who has to be taken seriously and be involved in the "consistent forward" conversation. A year which included 98 games played, 122 goals, 36 assists, 13 MOTM awards, and 127 key passes... as well as multiple pieces of silverware, and a reputation as a clinical striker! Well played West, finally got there.

The VFL Season 49 Team of the Week
    Week #1 - Higher Tier

    l715q0L9_o.png

GK - @Stink 35 - Marseille - To kick off the first TOTW of the new FIFA title, we are with old reliable Stink in net! The Dutch maestro has started life on FIFA 22 with excellent form, keeping 4 clean sheet sheets in 5 games, making 19 saves, and also collecting a MOTM award! Marseille certainly looks like the team to beat in Europe and are certainly out to make history in being the first squad to secure Marseille a league title! With guys like Stink in the team, they’re already one step closer than anybody who has come before them. A great week, and all the best Stinky!

CB - @JGallagher x – Malaga – As we proceed up the pitch, we enter our defensive heart, and who better to kick us off with the veteran himself, JGallagher! It seems like yesterday we were watching this young Irish talent play for Exeter in December 2017… fast forward nearly 4 years, and he’s now competing for the big trophies, on the big stage, in a big team like Malaga! He’s started off the new season in great form, securing 5/5 clean sheets, with 35 possession wins, and a goal to put the cherry on the cake! Malaga are yet again one of the teams who will be hunting for European glory, but also domestic glory. Question remains though, can they secure that infamous treble? We’ll wait and see. Best of luck JG!

CB - @ParaCFC - Bayer 04 – Next to JG we have another veteran of the game, an England international, a serial winner, it’s ParaCFC! Continuing on with his teammates from last year, he now finds himself in Germany, representing the colours of Leverkusen, hoping to end the 8 season (2 years) league title drought! If his early form is anything to go by, they could well be on their way, as Para managed to secure 3 clean sheets and 23 possessions won in his 5 games played this week! An excellent defensive performance, and one which can be built on over the next 2 weeks. Good luck Para!

CB - @X Phenomeno X - Malaga – To finish off our backline, we head to Spain, but stay in Germany, as we take a trip to visit Mr Phenomeno! The German international has been an absolute superstar for Malaga in defence, conceding 0 goals in the opening 5 games, 4 of which he played in defence! He ends the week with 3 goals, 1 assist, and 4 clean sheets, with 24 possessions won…. what other word than incredible can be used to describe that? A leader, a legend, and a man who could seriously help the club win the Champions League! Congrats and Good Luck Phenomeno!

CDM – @Skellyy – Marseille – As we enter the heart of the midfield, where better to start than a former Manager of the Year, the CDM and Welsh maestro, Skelly! The Marseille gaffer has built quite a team as we’ve already mentioned, but make no mistake about it, it’s by no means a carry job. Skelly has been at the top of his game this week, securing 1 goal, 1 assist, 4 clean sheets, 1 MOTM award, and 43 possessions won… the most of any in his position so far this week! He’s still got incredible talent, he’s still hungry, and he’s clearly beginning his quest once more towards that Manager of the Year trophy! All the best to you Skelluardo!

CDM – @DxnielM – Middlesbrough – Partnering Skelly is another world-class international in DanielM! The Scottish defensive general stuck true to his playstyle this week… fast, aggressive, and straight to the point, as he helped Middlesbrough climb up that table and stay in tight contention for the league title! Daniel managed to secure 2 assists, 4 clean sheets, and 22 possessions won in a week which saw the team tested against the likes of Stoke and Tottenham! A player of his talents will be hungry for more, will be hungry for a Ballon d’Or nomination, and hungry for success, but will he find it at Boro? We hope so! Best of luck Daniel!

RM – @Parisi – Bor. Gladbach – We’re now climbing higher and higher into the midfield, and we land at an exciting player once more, another veteran, a man who has dominated the wing for near on 5 years, it’s the underrated but clinical Parisi! He’s started life in Gladbach with a monumental bang scoring 1 goal and assisting 4, while also securing a MOTM award and even an 88% dribble success rate. The tricky winger has turned a dire situation into something promising, as the boys at Gladbach find themselves in an early title charge… something they would never have expected a week ago! Can they complete the underdog story and make this a season to remember? Let’s wait and see! Best of luck P!

LM – @AIpha EU – Bor. Dortmund – We move across to the other wing, but stay in Germany, and head over to the yellow and black side, we’re taking a look at Dortmund’s Alpha EU! Dortmund and the core there are a squad which many wish to emulate and copy, coming up together through the lower divisions, creating history, and now securing a big club to carry on their story! Dortmund will be hungry for success, and even though they’ve made an 8/15 point start, Alpha will be extremely proud in a performance which has stemmed 3 goals, 2 assists, 1 MOTM award, and an incredible 93% dribble success rate… clearly terrifying the opposition’s defence! I’m sure they’ll be back on the right track and competing in the Pokal regardless. Well played Alpha and keep it up!

CAM – @Hods x – FC Schalke 04 – We finish off the midfield and we’re staying in Germany, heading to the blue side of Schalke and visiting an up-and-coming talent in Hods x! The fresh-faced teenage talent has found himself balling with some of the very best on the Xbox side, enjoying victories against sides in which Schalke should be beating. However, what’s been impressive is how quickly Hods has clicked with this group, securing 2 goals and 7 assists in his 5 games played at the #10 role. The young gun will be hoping to secure his first major piece of silverware this year and is looking in a really good position to do so! Keep grounded and keep up the good work Hods!

ST – @Leo I 10 I – Chamois Niotrais – As we finish off the first higher tier TOTW, we end at the strikers of course, and we head over to France to see another talented youngster in Leo I 10 I! Leo has been on FIRE for Chamois, scoring 9 goals, grabbing 2 assists, and also 3/5 MOTM awards for his club! Not much is known about this enigmatic striker, but he’s letting people know all about him with his goal record… a goal record which has fired Chamois up the table, and into a position where they are chasing the title in serious fashion! We’ll be keeping our eye on this guy and hoping for more fireworks for sure! Well played my man, solid work.

ST – @Luggy x – UD Las Palmas – Last but by no means least, we’re ending off with Luggy x of UD Las Palmas! Another VFL veteran, Luggy has continued to excite everybody who watches him pick up a pad, whether that be for club or country, he’s always a certain for special moments. That’s EXACTLY what we got this past week, as the Palmas boys find themselves second in the league and on fire in the goal scoring department, a large part down to Luggy himself! In his 5 games played, he’s managed to secure 8 goals, 4 assists, 2 MOTM awards, and an 88% pass accuracy… proving he can link play as well as finish plays! Can Las Palmas shock the world and clinch the title in what can only be described as a stacked La Liga? We’ll have to wait and see! GG Luggs!

The VFL Season 49 Team of the Week
    Week #1 - Lower Tier

    gYT6Ra02_o.png

GK - @Bakeinho - Birmingham City – Kicking off our first Lower Tier TOTW of FIFA 22 is a legend of the game, a veteran of the scene, it’s Bakeinho! Bakes has made an excellent start to life at Birmingham under another VFL legend in Ryan Parker and is setting his sights firmly on that League One title this season. The energetic keeper has kept 4 clean sheets and made 30 saves in the opening 6 games, acting as a forcefield for the Blues who have rarely given up a goal against their opponents! With consistency and a favourable run of fixtures, who is to say they can’t go all the way? Best of luck in the chase!

CB – @cSamii – Greuther Furth – As we move into defence, we take a trip over to Germany and visit one of the high performers of the ICC pre-season cup, it’s cSamii! Well, the fact he’s here clearly indicates that he’s carried on his excellent pre-season form into the opening week, as the hungry defender managed to bag 3 goals, 1 assist, 4 clean sheets, and 25 possession wins in his opening 6 games. A real towering opponent who rarely loses the ball in the air, and one that will be hoping to advance far into the cup in order to silence the critics who call his team “lower tier dodgers”. Best of luck to you sir!

CB – @VT Brendan – Hull City – Lining up next in the defensive line is a Scottish cult-hero for the Tigers, it’s Brendan! The assistant manager and brute-force defender dons the orange of Hull this season, hunting to put the club back into the Premier League through winning the Championship, something the club has not done since Season 7 in 2014! With a stat line like his, 1 goal, 5 clean sheets, 1 MOTM, and 21 possession wins, it’s hard to argue against their chances of doing it… however, Blackburn may have something to say about that! Best of luck to you Brendan!

CB - @giprat - Plymouth Argyle – Last but by no means least in our defensive line, we head down to League Two to visit Plymouth and the ever-growing giprat! A player who continues to improve, have his stock rise, and grow in confidence each season, giprat has once again made a positive start to life at a new club. With 6 games under his belt, he boasts a record of 4 clean sheets and 31 possession wins, numbers that gaffer Scruff will only beam with joy towards. Plymouth right now do look like the real deal in League Two, but as we all know, those divisions can turn on their head at the click of a button, so it’ll be interesting to see if they can maintain their momentum! All the best and congrats again giprat!

CDM - @Ha Gueye - Fleetwood Town – Next up, we have our midfielders, and where better to start than Fleetwood Town’s gaffer, Ha Gueye! To say he’s built a team worthy of League Two silverware is a real understatement, with serial winners from across the globe convening at Lancashire (of all places) to try and do the job! Gueye himself though has been in phenomenal form after the first week, securing 4 goals, 4 clean sheets, 3 MOTM awards and 25 possession wins in his opening 6 games… numbers Yaya Toure would be proud of from a CDM! With a view elements of play to be tweaked, and 2 more weeks of his season to go, he’ll be aiming high for not only the title, but also TOTS. Best of luck to you and bring it home Gueye!

CDM - @TJ I Allday - Birmingham City – Partnering Gueye in the midfield, we head back up to Birmingham in League One and say hello to an old familiar face in TJ I Allday! Another veteran who has linked up with Ryan Parker’s Blues, TJ brings all the qualities a gaffer could want to the CDM role. From his playmaking ability to his defensive positioning, even to his ability to sometimes lead, TJ himself could be a key component to Birmingham’s title charge! That’s only further backed up by the impressive stat line of 2 assists, 4 clean sheets, 2 MOTM awards, and 39 possession wins from his opening 6 games… clearly, a brick wall if you ask his opponents! Congratulations TJ, and keep it up!

LM - @Jgoreee - Plymouth Argyle – As we now advance further up the field, we’re back over the Green Army of Plymouth, and take a visit to the ROTW international Jgoreee! Gore has been in wonderful form down the left-hand channel, securing 2 goals, 5 assists, and an 85% dribble success rate in his 6 games played! A tricky winger who has continued to grow and grow and grow in these last 2-3 years, he’s now regarded as one of the bright talents of the wide-midfield position. Some may argue the division is below his level and that he could challenge for TOTY, but at the end of the day, we all play VFL for different reasons, as long as he enjoys himself, who are we to judge? Congratulations again Gore!

RM - @Stansfield - Plymouth Argyle – On the opposite wing, we don’t have to travel far, as we’re staying in Plymouth and taking a look at Gore’s teammate, Stansfield! Stansy has been in fine form all pre-season, tearing it up in the 11s Cups, in the ICC, and now again in the opening week of League Two’s fixtures. With 6 goals, 3 assists, and 1 MOTM award to his name, I’d challenge anybody to find a RM in League Two who possesses more all-round talent in their game. A guy who can and will reach double figures in goals and assists this season, and hopefully, a League Two title to match! Congratulations once again Stansfield!

CAM – @Hollow IRL – Lyon – The final piece of our midfield jigsaw this week is none other than the Irishman Hollow IRL! Lyon can count their lucky stars that they’ve secured a man with so much tenacity and calibre this season, with Hollow a regular in these TOTW’s over the years! With the opening week of Ligue 2 done and dusted, the locksmith AM has managed to record 1 goal, 6 assists, 2 MOTM awards, and an 88% dribble success rate… stats that not only indicate he’s elusive but can put it on a plate for his teammates! A terrific week, and one which could be the start to a late title charge perhaps! Congrats Hollow!

ST – @DN43 – Blackburn Rovers – As we enter the final area of our LT TOTW, we make a pit-stop at Blackburn and Ewood Park to see the gaffer, DN43! DN has been in excellent form this week, being the perfect all-round striker for his teammates. The talented striker has managed to record 6 goals, 6 assists, and an 86% dribble success rate in his 6 games, emulating almost a lower tier Thierry Henry of sorts! With his high dribble rate, we have to assume he’s playing as an almost secondary striker, a striker who can slot a ball in for his partner, but also take the chances in those deadly situations! A real breath of fresh air, and a player to keep your eye on! Congrats DN!

ST - @TheScouseSanta - Crawley Town – And here we are, the end of the TOTW, and where better to end than another familiar old face in the veteran, ScouseSanta! Santa has been regarded as one of the most ruthless finishers in lower tier since he burst onto the scene 4 years ago in 2017, having bundles of consistency in each season he’s played! That doesn’t stop this season as the 23-year-old managed to slot 12 goals and 7 assists, while also picking up a MOTM award for his troubles. Crawley continue to be gunmen of League One, and maybe, just maybe, they have the experienced heads of Bristol Rovers slightly nervy heading into the second week of League One. Can Crawley be the team to cause massive upset this season? We’ll have to wait and see! Congratulations again Santa!
